3-0 out of 5 stars a little too much
These are long!!!!They get kinda boring and i think they just put in the info to fill the book.

5-0 out of 5 stars The simpsons
This book is perfect for any simpsons fan.You can follow the entire show with this book. The funnest part is reading along as you watch the particular show, and find the little stuff the book puts out

4-0 out of 5 stars Great Show, Good Book
This book is probably a must for any real "Simpsons" fan.It is full of summaries of each episode in the 13th and 14th season, as well as memorable quotes, interesting trivia, and things you may have missed. The book offers interesting character designs from different episodes, as well as on-going couch gags and what Homer likes ("Mmmm") and dislikes ("D'oh").However, I feel some of these things are just placed inside to make the book seem more full and deserving of $15.But, overall, I was very happy with the purchase and, as I stated earlier, I feel it is an essential for a big "Simpsons" fan. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great books, bad condition
I ordered my books from here and the hardcover came torn. I must warn you to be careful ordering books online, you never know what you're going to get. I orderd my books for $30. If I had orderd later I would of have to buy for $45. It seems amazon rose the prices. The price is the same as in the stores so I advise you to get it in stores because you never know what your going to get in the mail. Or you can wait till it's $30 again or buy from a seller. Now on to the books. This hardcover includes 3 books. The first one features seasons 1-8. The second one features seasons 9-10, the third one contains seasons 11-12. Each one contains things you might of missed facts and other stuff like production photos songs and more. I reccommend this for all simpsons fans.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Ultimate Guide for the Ultimate Simpsons Fan
This Episode Guide has EVERYTHING that you can ever imagine in an episode guide. From Seasons 1-12, it has details on every single episode. Its got quotes, what Bart writes on the chalkboard in the intro, couch gags, special guest voices, writers, screenshots, episode number (i.e. 8F05), air date, scene selections, runtime, and a whole lot more. All of this for only about $30, what a bargain. 5-0 out of 5 stars The Simpsons Forever!
I have the first book that covers seasons 1-8 and it is an absolute must-have for Simpson fans not in front of the internet who want to remember specific shows and lines from the shows at their fingertips. It has brought hours and hours of joy to my friends and I. I think the guy from Belgium is just bitter and might want to consume some Duff. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Guide for Seasons 11 & 12
This particular book follows the eleventh and twelfth seasons of the "Simpsons."We are offered summaries for each episode, as well as chalkboard and couch gags, hard-to-know facts and trivia, and character sketches and designs from various episodes. This is a great addition to the first two books in the series, but seems to be filled with some extra, not very essential material, just to seem larger and worthy of the price.Yet, in any event, I think if you are a big "Simpsons" watcher, or want to know more about these seasons, this book is a great purchase.

5-0 out of 5 stars As the cover says, a complete guide...still continued...
THE SIMPSONS BEYOND FOREVER! A COMPLETE GUIDE TO OUR FAVORITE FAMILY...STILL CONTINUED is probably the best book on the Simpsons that I've read, along with THE SIMPSONS: A COMPLETE GUIDE TO OUR FAVORITE FAMILY and THE SIMPSONS FOREVER! A COMPLETE GUIDE TO OUR FAVORITE FAMILY...CONTINUED. It includes, and I am taking this right from the cover, all new characters, episodes, and secret jokes you might have missed from seasons 11 & 12. The book was created by Matt Groening and edited by Jesse L. McCann. It details each episode and even has extras: Season 11 Production Art; Season 11 Character Designs; Season 12 Production Art; Season 12 Character Designs; Church Marquees; "D'oh"s and "Mmm"s; Itchy & Scratchy; Couch Gags; Who Does What Voice; and Songs Sung Simpson.
5-0 out of 5 stars Great!

On The First Page Of It, Bart Simpson & Reverend Lovejoy & Kent Brockman
4-0 out of 5 stars "Mmmmm....beer trap"
Although the title of this book is "Barn Burner," there are no country/farm themed comics here.In fact, a golf-related title would be more appropriate as there are several golf references at the end of this book. So, if you are a fan of golf and the Simpsons, this comic book is for you!Overall, there are a lot of good ideas here, but some of them fall flat. The book gets better after the first three comics.
5-0 out of 5 stars Hilarious comic book filled with laughter!
A great Simpsons comics choice. Laugh-out-loud humor and great plotlines. My personal favorite is Marge Vs. Smithers. I also really love The Paper Chase. This comic book is just crack-up great, in some spots though the humor is dry and the plots are a bit dull like A Swingin' Affair. Decent jokes there, and as well as the Groundskeeper Willie "If I Invented Golf" thing? Homer's rendition is way better. Although of the hidden flaws. No need to nitpick! This book is "banjo-fiddlin' darn-tootin' barn-burnin' fun"! My good buddy, you'll be all night reading this! I know for a fact that I slept over a friend's house [...] and he could not stop reading it! He read it before we fell asleep, and he read it for 2 hours in the morning until I woke up! Well, great fun in these easy-to-picture-as-episode comics. Toe-tapping greatness!.....OK I'll stop with the dry redneck humor. :) ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun!
Awesome! This is a great book! My Parents Don't let me watch the TV show. So I checked this book out of the library.I loved it! It was not very funny, but I still enjoyed it. My favorite comic strip is Bart's Trip to the Zoo. I would recomnd it to anyone who is a fan of the TV show, or anyone in the 8-10 age group.

This comic book wasn't anything special. I read it in 2002 sometime soon after it came out. It's the simpsons.. its a comic book..... so? I'm a big fan of this show, and i don't regret buying it, but it's not like the show at all... ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Good Source for Seasons 9 & 10
This book is one in a continuing series of reference for the show.In particular, this book deals with episodes from the ninth and tenth seasons of the "Simpsons."Here, we are given summaries of each episode, as well as the chalkboard and couch gags that came along, and interesting trivia about the episodes. If you own the first one (which I suggest you should, if you don't already)), I would definitely recommend this book, as well as to any person who loves the show.

5-0 out of 5 stars As the cover says, a complete guide...continued...
THE SIMPSONS FOREVER! A COMPLETE GUIDE TO OUR FAVORITE FAMILY...CONTINUED is probably the best book on the Simpsons that I've read, along with THE SIMPSONS: A COMPLETE GUIDE TO OUR FAVORITE FAMILY. It includes, and I am taking this right from the cover, more characters, episodes, and secret jokes you might have missed from seasons 9 and 10...and then some! The book was created by Matt Groening and edited by Scott M. Gimple. It details each episode and even has extras: Do The Bartman; Deep, Deep Trouble; A Tribute to Troy McClure; Homer Says; Couch Gags; Who Does What Voice; and Songs Sung Simpson.
5-0 out of 5 stars Seasons 9-10, Complete

4-0 out of 5 stars gotta luv the Simpsons! this comic book is great!
Woo-hoo!!! All right! a Simpsons comic book! me and my bud both luv the Simpsons TV show and when my friend had seen a Simpsons comic book she just had to have it. so i took the liberty of ordering it off of here b/c you get it so much cheeper than at the store. she luved it and so did i.
4-0 out of 5 stars "A Where's Waldo book written by the Devil"---Ned Flanders
Belly Buster is another solid Simpsons comic book with the same type of art and humor you get from the television shows. There are a lot of shorts in this one but, for the most part, the comics offer good story lines with lots of typical Simpsons satire.

5-0 out of 5 stars The Next Best Thing To The TV Show!!
I have a dozen Simpsons comic books and they all brim with comics, mock advertisements, top ten lists, Itchy and Scratchy shorts, etc. which sport that famous television series humor. Here's what awaits you in this issue:5-0 out of 5 stars The show is as good as this
The Simsons comics extravaganza is purfect.the best of all the books(The books i own.)My fave is"The Amazing Colossal Homer."It reflects Burns' black soul and Homers Dumness. All the other comics in this bookarepurfect too.

4-0 out of 5 stars It may not be the show but it is just as good.
For Simpson Comics Extravangsa(I know its wrong).it gives the first 4 episodes in the Simpson Comics. My favoriate part was the one with Robert Tewliger( Sideshow Bob).It is better to get the single comics, but thebook looks nice. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Drawin' the Simpsons
This is just great! I'm sure every Simpsons fan has wondered if they could draw America's favorite family, and I'm sure plenty of you have got it down-packed. But if you just can't draw Bart's head, or Marge's body, I strongly suggest you buy this book (and afterwords, if you STILL can't draw them right, trace, hee hee). The book teaches you how to draw Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie's anatomy, and the best thing about the book is if you look at a picture of another character (for example, Apu), you can use Homer's anatomy (not making him so fat, mind you) and draw Apu from there. It's a great guide, so if you're a Simpsons fan and love to draw...buy it. Buy it now!

5-0 out of 5 stars This is one of the best cartooning books ever
I am an illustrator, animator, AND I work at Fox. My copy of this book has gotten so much use over the 7-odd years I've had this, it should be falling apart. This is why this is such a great book:4-0 out of 5 stars Wanna draw the Simpsons? Get this book!
Let's start this review with some reality. If you read the buying info carefully you will note the book is only 36 pages! So you are not going to get a college course in all of the Simpsons methods!...This book only gives you info on the Simpsons core family...Bart,Lisa,Maggie,Marge and (My Fav) Homer! Just learning to draw his stubby fat fingers is a riot! And yes,....you do learn secrets! You learn the secrets to the scale and balance of these characters....that Marge's hair is about 2 bowling balls high, bart's hair has 9 points, Lisa's hair has 8 points, you learn how many eyelashes each character has and how to place them, how the eyeballs should be placed on the head in comparison to the nose, how each characters hands and feet details should be drawn..... True, it is only 36 pages but it does give you all you need to start drawing the Simpsons family. What did I not like about this book? I really wanted tips on Mr. Burns, Moe, Smithers, Krusty.. Who is this book for? This book might be for a beginner but I doubt it. Want to learn how to draw? Look elsewhere. Someone with some skill or ability who wants to learn how to draw the Simpsons? Yes! On the side for extra cash do you street sketch, air brush at the local mall, do cartoons, do charicatures? Well, then get this book and use it to expand your portfolio. Are you just a kid (8 yrs to 88yrs old) who loves the Simpsons and wants to be able to look cool with your friends by drawing them?Get this book, live your life, be happy and have fun! ... Read more

I ordered it as a Christmas gift, but it became back ordered a few weeks after I placed my order.I'm sure it's quite good though.

5-0 out of 5 stars Funny Stuff
This is basically a disorganized mini version of one of those episode guides...only it focuses strictly on Homer. If your a hardcore Simpsons fan, then you'll love this book. If not, then I'm sure it will nonetheless crack a smile from you.

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect holiday gift for the Simpsons fan in your life!
This slim little volume features everything you'd ever want to know about one of your favorite Simpsons characters, Homer. The book opens with a timeline reviewing all the significant milestones in Homer's life, from his childhood antics with friend Barney to many of the family trials which have been chronicled on the show. The various "Homer's Haunts" sections describe in detail some of Homer's most-visited sites, including the nuclear power plant and (of course) Mo's.Also featured are significant people in Homer's life, from his workplace friends and enemies to the people who have almost ruined his marriage (eg, Jacques, Mindy). You'll also get a review of his many, many jobs as well as countless food-related references (including "Things That Sound Like Food but Aren't").Finally, the book begins and ends with Homer's Top 40 and his Bottom 40, respectively.A great stocking stuffer for any die-hard Simpsons fan! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Best Simpsons Book Ever
This is the ultimate Simpsons fan's book. It has all of The Simpsons seasons 1-8 in air-order, so you won't have any problem finding them. There are a lot of pictures and colors as well. There are even a list of Homer's D'ohs, Couch Gags, and Chalkboard Gags for every episode. This is well worth the money you pay for it; definitely should be bought by any simpaholic.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Book for a Great Show!
I bought this book when it first came out, and have re-read it often (fully, and partially) since then.It is an excellent reference for any "Simpsons" fan for the first eight seasons of the show. The pages are full of episode summaries, quotes, and trivia facts from the show.It also offers profiles of characters, and a list of who does what voice.A great source if you cannot remember what guest celebrity voiced a character or any other information like that.I recommend this book for anyone who enjoys the "Simpsons" and wants to know more about the episodes.

4-0 out of 5 stars I Do Like A Man Who Knows His Simpsons
Almost everything you could ever think to ask about The Simpsons is in this book. What was Bart writing on the chalkboard in "that one episode"? It's in here. The plots, inside jokes, behind the scenes tales and more await in this excellent resource for fans. This book harkens from the Conan O'Brien-era prime of the series, up to about the late 90's, when the quality (sadly) slipped big time. This was the golden age of The Simpsons, back before the series "became a cartoon." (Anyone who was a fan back in the day knows just what I mean.) ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Good, But Not Up To Simpsons Comics Standards
I have a dozen Simpsons comic books and read them all over and over again. On Parade, though, is my least favorite.Like all the books, the artwork is awesome and it has all the popular Simpsons characters, but, unlike the other books, most of the comics have very weak endings.4-0 out of 5 stars Not bad
The Simpsons Comics carry on in this edition, but it seems to be a slight sag here. The first edition, in which the political parties come to town seems to drag. But, we get some classics, like "They Saved Homer'sBrain". It's not up to the classic that was Simpsons ComicsExtravaganza, but it's better than some stuff from Simpsons ComicsSpectacular.

5-0 out of 5 stars Brilliant
Simpsons, Comics on Parade, is the second Simpsons comic book collection I've gotten so far.If you look on the page for the Simpsons Comics Spectacular you will find another one of my reviews. After reading both ofthem, I would definitely recommend the Simpsons, Comics on Parade, becauseof the variety of stories jam-packed in it.My favorite would have to beissue #25 because it seemed the most like a real Simpsons TV episode.Icould imagine everybody saying everything, and it had a great plot as well. KEEP IT UP GROENING! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars THIS BOOK ROCKS!
I am an Australian boy who has this book and I'd like to say to you Americans that this book rocks. It has everything you need to know about: School, Food, Health and fitness, Work and money, After hours, Parents, Art and culture, science, language and communication, Sex, Animals, phsycology, Strange Facts, Law and Order, Christmas and Religion. The best bit is when Bart tells you how to cure hiccups, Hay fever, Coughing, Sunburns, warts, acne and ennui! I tried curing hiccups by how Bart does it and it worked a few minutes later! I love this book! ... Read more
