4-0 out of 5 stars Liz. . . .The Tub?
This book was really good. I love Liz, and feel sorry for her now that she is pudgy and
4-0 out of 5 stars A little heavy, but when did Franchine ever fail?
Aaaaaahhh. Frachine knocks off the Wakefields-are-perfect stuff. As Elizabeth puts it,

5-0 out of 5 stars Great!
I really liked this book! (I've been a SVU fan for a while.) It was really annoying though how Tom and Liz really like each other but it takes them so long to hook-up!!! It's sad about Jess and Mike. Jessica always gets the wrong guys. What's up with that? Anyway this book was great! Everyone should read it. (Well girls anyway)

5-0 out of 5 stars I Still Love It
I had never been a fan of Sweet Valley books until I began reading the University series.I have to say that I loved the Elizabeth and Tom relationship, and this book portrayed the beginning of their romance in a very heartfelt, sentimental manner. It also contains some very good action scenes when Elizabeth gets in trouble with the fraternity she is doing a report on.Once again, Jessica's actions give the book lots of drama. It's been five years since I first read The Love of Her Life, and even though I guess I've "outgrown" these books, I still occasionally pick it up and reread it again. This was probably one of my favorite books of the SVU series (I read it straight through in 5 hours), and unfortunately, after some of the characters from the early stories started disappearing, I stopped reading...but the first books were wonderful, and this is most certainly a good read for anyone who likes drama, and a good old teenage romance.

5-0 out of 5 stars This book rocked!
I LOVED this book. I knew it was William from the very beginning. And Ilove Tom. He and Elizabeth are so much better together then Liz and Todd (Ihate Todd) The thing with Jessica and MIke was also really interesting. AndCeline actually does something good for once. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Jessica is Mrs.Michael Mcellery
Jessica and Michael McCellrey[sp] are married and Elizabeth keeps it a secret. She invites Tom and Elizabeth over for dinner, but the dinner is ruined,so they order mexican take out from a restaurant. William White is getting awfully close to Elizabeth, but so is Tom Watts, she is his broadcast partner.

4-0 out of 5 stars One of the most intriguing.
Believe me thisbook is great. If you read the previous one then you will love the heartache in this one.Jessica is now officially Mrs. McAllery and her brother does not know.Generally the book showed apicture of Mike bein judged and all while silly old Jessica had to keep her head high above everyone s notion that it will not work.Liz on the other hand is still tryna find out the rascist secret society on campus.Plus there is a deliciously dangerous twist at the end.All in all it is a great book.

4-0 out of 5 stars And the award for the worst wife goes to
Jessica Wakefield (McAllery whatever)! Poor Mike begin stuck married to a witch like that! Why does she never take any resposiblity for her actions? It's pretty obvious that after the big fight in the previous book she only has two choices either to leave him which is obviously hard to do but definately not impossible since Liz gives her that option right at the beginning or she tells her parents and takes her marriage seriously. But oh no she can't do either of them she just goes on lying and scheming to her husband. I don't think the author writes the character of Mike particularly well she obviously expects the reader to hate him but gives them no reason to do so. He's suppose to be a drunk yet through out the whole story line there are only two scene where he is actually drunk. The twist in Mike's character from ealier books is rather unbelievable and obviously just done by the author after she suddenly remebers that Jessica is not suppose to have a boyfriend for too long. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Someone is attacking Blacks in SVU!!!
When Elizabeth's friend,Nina Harper and her boyfriend,Bryan are attacked. They investigate. It's a cult,William White is behind it.Mike and Jessica elope in Vegas because she felt left out her best friend,Lila Fowler got married and is now Countess Something.Isabella Ricci is closer toDanny, than to Tom Watts.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great- Yet Again!
This was great! My favorite part was when jessica and Mike elope in Vegas.I would never do it, but I thought it was good for them.None of her family or friends know yet. Elizabeth and Tom are trying to deny their feelings for each other. Liz is still with William.Liz is trying to find out the leader of the society who attacked Nina and Bryon.Tom is afraid for her safety and doesn't want her to do it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great book!!!!
This book was great! This is one of my favorite Sweet Valley University books. Jessica Wakefield and Michael McAllery get married, but Jessica's too scared to tell anyone. Elizabeth Wakefield loves Tom Watts, but WIlliam White loves her. Nina Harper suffered an attack along with Bryan Nelson. But will she ever get close to him? Isabella Ricci wants Danny Wyatt to help her get closer to Tom Watts, but they end up getting closerto eachother. Todd Wilkins is starting to realize that Lauren Hill isn't as wonderful as he thought she was, plus he's going through some hard times due to the scandal. This book is great! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars So this is college....this is hell
liz has a horrible expirience in college. we all know what happens but then liz has a horrible weight gain!

3-0 out of 5 stars Liz & Todd....did they have to break up?
First of all, I really liked this book. It was very emotional and reminded me of the changes I've gone through in the past few years since entering college. Elizabeth went through hell through the arms of abandonment. I felt really sorry for her, considering she is my favorite SV character. The only thing about this book that turned me off is Liz & Todd's breakup. I think they are the cutest couple, and they've been together forever. They are soul mates. I just wish Liz and Todd never broke up...I don't really like Tom Watts; Liz deserves someone much better than him. I hope Todd & Liz get back together later in the series. "Elizabeth & Todd Forever" is a very touching book as well...it just proves they are soul mates.

5-0 out of 5 stars University Women!
When Elizabeth,Jessica,Enid,Todd and Winston go to Sweet Valley University,Enid changes her name to Alexandra[Her middle name] and is in a sorority,The Thetas. Todd wants to have sex with Elizabeth, but She refuses.Jessica misses Lila who married a Count in Italy, and Jessica meets a more Sophisticated girl named Isabella Ricci.Winston gets registered into an all-girl dorm under the name Winnie.Jessica wants Mike McCallery, but he does save her from a band of rapists or something on Halloween. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Steven and Billie are to marry
Steven Wakefield and Billie Winkler are to be married! Tom Watts gives Elizabeth an Engagement ring,I loved it when Alice said Yoo-Hoo Bride and Groom! It said that Billie was an only child, but in College Weekend it said Billie was visiting her sister once in college and pulled an amazing stunt, and tells about lighting candles and writing at the computer about the great American Novel,She thought she lost her sister's files for a report, but it was somewhere else. What gives?

5-0 out of 5 stars top book
Its so hectic over at the wakefields. I have to say alice has many sides to her, she needs to chill. the picture of streven at the front is great, he is so fit, Billies a lucky women. It was hilarious the way steven turnsinto a zombie. the plot was great, i wasn't suprised when they called offthe wedding, as they both weren't ready for it. Overall a fab book and Jessdont worry you'll make up with your mum.

4-0 out of 5 stars Cool Book!!
The Wakefields are in a state of confusion. With Billie and Stevan getting married there is so much to do.This book is pretty cool. It is funny the way Jessica and her mother keep fighting over everything. It gave me a good laugh. But I think the book should have had more of the best character, LILA. Otherwise it was awsome!! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars The First Time
This book was so good!In this book Liz's boyfriend Finnis pressuring Liz to have sex with him. But what Liz dosent know is that Finn is cheating on her.Her roomate Sam knows that Finn goes out with girls, sleeps with them, and then dumps them, and he knows that Finn is cheating on Liz. Does Sam get though Liz in time? Nina meets a guy and starts blowing off her studding time and blows off her classes. But can she blow off class again? Its pledge week. Chole really wants to get in the Theats. But how far will she go to get in? This was such a great book. Buy it!

4-0 out of 5 stars This book was good
I truly enjoyed reading this book, How far Sam goes to try and protect Elizabeth from Finn. This book show Sam has a really good side even though he is a slob but he is very good person who truly cares about Elizabeth. Definetly must read!

4-0 out of 5 stars This Book Is GOOD!
What I like best about this book was Elizabeth & Finn's sex saga. I had a feeling that Finn was just toying with her. Choloe's part is second. It was GREAT that Jess was nice enough to let Choloe and Val have a 2nd chance ( At what? You read the book!)And Nina and her new boy was 3rd. It was exciting. Finally, last place was Todd. I mean, who wants him when he dumped Liz? That was a dumb move... ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars I am FURIOUS!!!
Where does Francine Pascal (or should I say Laurie John, who wrote this book) get off making Sam cheat on Liz and only write Sorry? That is...he is better than that!I know he is!I hate Todd but love Sam (only after reading the 3rd book do I think Tom is "okay", but he is NOT Sam).I don't really think the author liked Sam very much to wreck his character. She just wanted to empty her hands of him and move on.Gr.I love Sam!He was decent. Then she made Liz think she's so much better than him just because he wears his cap backwards and loves Playstation?("So WHAT WAS SHE DOING WITH HIM?", the author so meanly to poor Sam wrote)God, that is just so messed up.
5-0 out of 5 stars fantastic + dramatic
Jessica is terrified that Elizabeth will sleep with someone who just isn't worth her virginity..Sam!!(I reckon Sam is a creep and do not know how Elizabeth stands him)so she devises a plan to brea the 2 up for good. But this may mean losing Elizabeth forever. The ending is very sad and marks the beginning of the silly "Elizabeth" series.

2-0 out of 5 stars could have done better
Francine Pascal did such a great job on the first 40 or so books, but after she made it clear that Elizabeth and Tom were over that is when she messed up.I enjoyed reading about Elizabeth and Tom's relationship because it related to my own.I don't like many of the new characters that Ms. Pascal has introduced.I belive if something isn't broken than why fix it? Although I still enjoy her books and think that they are a realistic to a point, the main point is that: she messed up when she broke up Tom and Elizabeth.End of discussion. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Book!!
This book is great! It's an excellent conclusion to the second LIFEGUARD mini-series. Sweet Valley University books rule! Anyway, in this book, Elizabeth Wakefield is depressed because Ryan Taylor and her broke up, and Jessica Wakefield jumped right in. Elizabeth didn't show up for Ryan's anniversary of not drinking because of jeep problems, so Ryan breaks up with her. Jessica, who has always had a crush on Ryan, starts dating him. Elizabeth is sad because she really loves Ryan, and worried because Jessica doesn't know that Ryan's an alcoholic. Jessica's excited and she can't wait to show offr to Ben Mercer. She brags to Miranda about Ryan's good looks and romance. But on one date he gets drunk. Jessica is very upset, but tries to act like nothing happened, and tells Miranda that everything went well. Ryan apoligizes, so she forgives him. Nina Harper is scared. Somebody has done awful things to ehr, including knocking her unconcious. She knows it's Rachel Max. Rachel says that Stu is the baby's father, because of a one night stand they had. Nina's very sad because Stu was one of the sweetest guys she ever knew. Meanwhile, Winston Egbert tries to get Pedro back togetehr with Wendy Paloma. SInce he's the one who got them togetehr in the first place he knows he can get them back together. He tries a wild plan. Anyway, this book is great!

4-0 out of 5 stars Summer problems for the lifeguards!
This book wasn't the best LIFEGUARD book but it was good anyway. I thinkRyan was wrong to start drinking again just because Elizabeth didn't showup for their date. He also dumped Liz and started to date Jessica which Ithought wasn't very nice to do. The ending of the book was quite unexpectedand it left me wondering what would happen next in the next summer series! ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars It's ok
I mean, it's not the best SVU book. It has a dorky title

3-0 out of 5 stars Not as Good as the first 3
This book was all right, excpet that I found that the narrative had sort of darkened. The first books were uplifting and light-heartered. Except when Winston Egbert was involved the novel seemed a bit meancing. Still itwasn't that bad, but not excellent reading.

4-0 out of 5 stars One of the best LIFEGUARD books yet!
This book was one of the best LIFEGUARD books I've ever read. I don'tthink Jessica should have gone to all those lenghs to try and impress Benwhen it was pretty obvious that Ben was involved with Priya. Stu is apretty weird guy; not exactly Nina's type. Elizabeth's back with Ryan, whois also a weied character. I would though recommend this book to all SweetValley fans. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Neil is running for Student class president
Jessica's other best friend,Neil Martin, who's gay is running for student class president. Meanwhile Dana isn't doing too well,Becky a gal in her class is the best, but meanest classmate to her. Dana takes a job,to which she thinks is teaching the cello to a 5 year old,but she is actually babysitting. She is so bratty, that it made Dana's day, miserable. Nina moves in with the Twins,Sam,and Neil. There are reporters around Neil when a Gay group is founded. Dana sleeps with Tom at a Frat partyand Todd finds out about it. Denise is the new Theta President,Alexandra is the new Vice president,Jessica is the Chairwoman and Lila is the treasurer.

4-0 out of 5 stars Wierd
It's wierd reading sweet valley university and seeing that Todd and Elizabeth are both in love with different people. If you read the Sweet Valley High books, they were like "inseparable" but now you hear Todd saying "Dana, I will love you forever if you made dinner..." All in all, the book wasn't too exciting- it takes more than half the book to start getting to the exciting bits, so if you read the back cover eg. "Sam can feel Elizabeth getting under his skin...so he's got to push her away for good" that part doesn't happen even if you've read 150pages of the book, they haven't mentioned ANYTHING about that, let alone mention ANYTHING about Elizabeth. That is getting to be a problem.

3-0 out of 5 stars too much
I think the Todd and Dana story was awful. The hole time was just so depressed and not having todd around made it so much harder, but I can't believe todd tried his hardest to not be around her.The Neil martin was a little much but it was ok.I have had enough with liz and sam fighting so much its starting to drive me crazy. The chloe thing was funny in the end but she tried too hard to be liked and that seemed to get her nowhere she was just liked even less.I think Liz and Todd should definatly get back together.I cant what yo read the next book to find out what happens with Chloe and Sam.I thought the book was a little too predictable.I think Francine just needs to think up a more suprizing ending to her books. The outcomes always end with someone getting hurt or the same person crying the whole time(Dana). ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Celine,You rotton little sneak!!
Jessica is now dating Nick Fox,and she is curious as to what he does. She thinks he's an F.B.I. Man or something else. Elizabeth's boyfriend,Tom Watts's biological father is making the moves on her,but Tom doesn't see it because he's out of the room or out of the car. Nick stops a robbery at a movie theater, and they give Jessica Jujifruits and Diet Coke on the house for his capture of this guy. Jujifruits remind me of that Seinfeld episode"The Opposite" Doesn't those candies rip your teeth out?,it does to mom's. I'm better off with Junior Mints. Anyway Celine Whatever-her-last-name is pays for new furniture for Theta house,in the name of her grandmother. She becomes a Theta, and she meets this guy,I think he's on drugs or something. Elizabeth does tell Tom about Mr.Conroy's trying to make a pass at her,but he thinks she's lying. They break up. Jessica gets a hat for Lila[I wish a had a best friend my own age, puppy dog pout] She goes to Sweet Valley Millners and gets a hat ,Why can't Li get her own hat. Somehow, that sneak Celine puts swiches the hat with drugs, and Jessica is arrested.

4-0 out of 5 stars Tom--you jerk!!
I cannot believe Tom would believe his "father" over5-0 out of 5 stars Very Exciting!
This book is very exciting! Jessica Wakefield goes on Nick Fox's meet, but still hasn't gotten any real info. Then she and Nick are driving and when Nick spots a car following them, they go on a really exciting chase. Then Nick fights a man with a gun later on, and saves a lot of people. Jessica and Nick fall deeper in love, and it's so romantic. Elizabeth and Tom get closer. Now that they found out that George Conroy is actully Tom's father, Tom has gotten happier. Only Elizabeth hasn't. She can tell that Mr. Conroy is hitting on her- her son's girlfriend! He hits on her a few times, and she is fully disguisted. When she confronts him, she knows for sure he's hitting on her. Meanwhile, Alexandra Rollins is working for a substance abuse hotline, and is answering calls. Celine goes on a dangerous trip to get money. She gets a boyfriend, and uses him as part of her plan. She goes to dangerous areas and meets with very dangerous men that will kill her if she doesn't give them money by Tuesday. But she uses her boyfriend for some other dirty work. Meanwhile, Jessica is still trying to figure out Nick's secret, and comes close and closer and dangerously close! This book is great! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Very great volume
Elizabeth and Todd are so cute together. Elizabeth Wakefield and Todd Wilkins are made for each other and are so cute together. I loved it how they are together in middle school and high shool. Elizabeth and Todd's relationship is so touching. I wish they were together in college, since they are so great together. Todd is so sweet and romantic. I hope Elizabeth Wakefield and Todd Wilkins get together again, they are so great in this book.

4-0 out of 5 stars Grow up Tom....
I cannot believe how immature Tom was acting in this book. It really annoyed me the way he kept referring to Elizabeth as 'that other girl' and how he kept assuming that the only reason why she told him that George had come onto her was because she was jealous.5-0 out of 5 stars The Best Yet
SVU #27-29 are my favourites from the series. I found all the charactersreally touching and believable- Todd, who's being torn in two, Elizabeth, who has to make a sacifice and Gin-Yung, who's having the hardest time ofall.. It was great to see Todd and Elizabeth back together again, which wasromantic and the bits about Gin-Yung dealing with her fatal illness werevery touching. Jessica's parts didn't add much to the story, still theybroke it up nicely and left you wondering what was going to happen nextbetween Todd, Elizabeth and Gin-Yung. Don't miss this one if you like SVU! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Good volume
This was a good volume. Todd is a great character. Todd is sweet, kind and loving. This begins the cruise trilogy, where the gang goes on a cruise ship for college kids. Tom meets his ex and kisses her. Elizabeth catches him cheating on her. Todd comforts Elizabeth. Todd meets a girl, Gin-Yung and begins to develop feelings for her. Lila and Bruce go on the cruise too. I with Todd and Elizabeth were together.

5-0 out of 5 stars Homecoming Cruise for SVU Crew

Elizabeth,Danny and Isabella catch Tom with Nicole.

5-0 out of 5 stars IT WAS GREAT
LIZ SHOULD JUST HAVE SEX WITH TOM AND STOP WORRYING SO MUCH ABOUT JESSICA. SOMETIMES I JUST WISH THAT LIZ WILL DIE, BUT THEN THE BOOKS WON'T BE EXICTING BECAUSE LIZ IS ALWAYS LIKE HAVING 2 B-FRIENDS. JESSICA IS ALRIGHT,BUT HER BOYFRIENDS ARE ALWAYS DYING. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Good-bye Elizabeth?
Elizabeth and her new boyfriend Scott Sinclair are being accepted into a new school far away, but Tom Watts wants Elizabeth back.I think the school is in Washington or Something. Elizabeth and Tom get back together.

5-0 out of 5 stars I LUV THIS BOOK!
This book was probably one of the most exciting SVUs that I have ever read (I've read through the whole serious including thrillers...u could say I'm OBSESSED!) well anyways....I'm soo happy that after all this time Tom and Liz FINALLY got back together! Its so romantic and exciting how they finally confess their true love to each other exactly as the plane is about to take off whisking Elizabeth away with the evil and horrible sleaze also known as Scott Sinclair. I was realieved when they finally told each other they Loved each other because I mean I have been reading "Your not my sister", "Breaking Away", and finally this one "Good-bye Elizabeth" and i am so glad they are finally together again because i definatly think that Tom and Liz belong together (this sounds tacky but its like they have a spiritual connection as well as a physical one) So newayz..if u like the SVU books this is a must read must have book! Enjoy peoplez!

4-0 out of 5 stars almost good
i rate this book 4 stars i mean come on what in the world jessica was thinking anyway? she shouldn't have done that to tom 'coz she did not even thing of what will happen in the future. And what was scott doing anyway the day he and liz leaves it was like scott wanted to be at denver before they even ride to the plane. elizabeth's decision is good also because she's going to making a big mistake if she have the wrong choice. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars How Original.............
...If anyone's seen 'Single White Female', the basic storyline of this novel is pretty-much identical to the movie I've mentioned. The movie came out before this book did as well. Just thought I'ld clarify that. In the movie 'Single White Female', the main character ends-up with a psycho roommate who copies her clothes, cuts and dyes her hair in the same colour and style, visits her boyfriend in the middle of the night(who she kills with the spike of her heel; I take it that they didn't want to get rid of Danny just yet and they also needed to modify the storyline for a younger audience) and kills her dog(they changed it to a kitten in this book). The psycho roommate also has a twin sister who died when they were both still children. You see the two of them together at the start of the movie looking into a mirror playing with lipstick.Need I say more?

5-0 out of 5 stars REALLY GOOD!
I thought this book was a really good read, like all the other SVU Thriller edition books. It was very tense near the end, and it gotsoooooooooooooo exciting in some parts ( I won't say cos it will ruin itfor other readers! ) I could not put it down from the middle onwards! Thisis a really good book, and if you haven't, you must read it!

4-0 out of 5 stars Stolen Plot
I loved reading this book, and I thought it was fantastic. However, after reading it, I saw the 1944 movie "Gaslight", and I believe the author of this book just watched that movie and totally STOLE THE PLOT.I could predict what was going to happen in the movie based on what had happened in the book. For that reason, I have to say, "SHAME ON YOU, FRANCINE PASCAL!SHAME!!!"

5-0 out of 5 stars This book was great
I thought that this book was really good because it was mostly on Lila and Bruce. (my fave charecters). Lila falls for a docter, Porter Davis after she has an accident. Porter is a phcyo who tries to make Lila belive she is crazy. Also Jess plays tricks on Tom because he moves in with her and Liz.

5-0 out of 5 stars READ IT NOW!!!!!

3-0 out of 5 stars This book could have been better...
This book was so annoying..first off, I didn't really appreciate the author putting Liz and Todd back together for all of...two minutes!! Then..Just when you think Jessica can't act any more childish...she does just that by being so-called impulsive! Try repulsive! I don't know how a mature guy like Nick isn't bored with her antics by now...and Lila is a little nerve wracking in this book, too...Bruce should have pushed her into the pool!!I didn't really care for this book...I'm tired of Tom being so heartsick over Liz, too...geez..even Todd wasn't that heartsick..and he dated Liz for years!! Not months!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Jessica and Theta sisters taken Hostage in Red Lion
When Jessica,Lila,Denise, and Alexandra, went into the Red Lion for Coffee one Friday Night,It is held up and everyone inside is held hostage.Trevor Paley is a guy that Jessica knows from her class, and he's a shy guy,She doesn't know why he would stick up a diner. He and his brother,Jason.I think others hold it up,too.I'm not sure how many held it up. They release Alex,Denise and the wounded ones. Trevor takes Jessica with him to Theta House. If Kim Possible,Ron Stoppable and Rufus were there,They could handle it.No Big. She could give martial arts to those robbers and they would be handcuffed. The hostages freed. That's my Heroine! Kim Possible!

5-0 out of 5 stars Thrillers make this series interesting!
I LOVED THIS BOOK! IT IS SO AWESOME! And though I thought Jess's "Should I dob him in?" was kind of ridiculous, but still it showed her actually showing some compassion for once. If you ask me thrillers are the best SVU books!

4-0 out of 5 stars Great one in the series.
This is a good addition to the SVU thriller books. Two guys hold Jessica, her friends and other customers at gun point in a restaurant. But soon, Jessica discovers that one of the criminals is from her school, and she tries to convince him to do the right thing. ... Read more
