Lovely.
I extremely liked the Sabrina series book, "While the Cat's Away". The plot was very nice, and I always like to read how Salem is as a person. Actually, when recieving this book, I was sure it was the counterpart to the Sabrina TV show episode where Salem gets into Gordy's body, so I thought it'd be a bit dull, but this was a whole new adventure, as Salem got his own body (and was descripted quite nicely) and was unknown at Westbridge High. I recommend any Sabrina fan to read this book, as well as the others.

Brilliant book
What would you think if you heard someone was called Quientin Pidd. Sabrina met him and only figured this out at the end. He mistakes her for his meant to be lover and is using wierd ways to get her.Complete opposite students at Sabrina's school are pairing up and she has to find out why. Brilliant!

The beginning. Its her 16th birthday Sabrina finds out that shes a witch. But the only thing shes learnt is how to turn something into a pineapple. So when Libby is nasty to her and gone just to far she becomes a pineapple. But with her aunts help she is reversed again. But its too late. Her reputation as a freak at the new school has been established. She goes to the other realm counsel to plead for time to be reversed so she can start the day again. DENIED. But Aunt Hilda, Drells (the head counsellor)old girlfriend goes to pay him a little visit. That sure sorted him out. Excellent first book.

the better witch
i think DIANA G.GALLAGHER should be given kudos for writing a book on magic that's not sentimental as others 0thers.sabrina as said in the book does not depend on her powers for everything on like tanya.the book is very interesting and should be given an award. when i watched the film i knew that the book whould be fun to read. i just want to say i love the narrative techniques of ms diana. 'mind over magic'ilove that line it really portrays sabrina to be better than tanya who wears her pride on her skin

Quite good
The only problem with the storyline in this book is that its basically the same as a previous one. If you've read'Lotsa Luck' you will know what I mean. Apart from that its resonably good. Sabrina loses an illegal pouch of witch dust around school which even mortals can use. When Mr Craft wishes to himself that Sabrina would tell the truth about herself and spreading wish dust unknowingly, she blurts out her secret!!!

Dog and boy........boy and dog
Harvey is petsitting McDougal. When he brings him to Sabrina's house she accidental changes them over. Now its Harvey the dog and McDougal the boy. Can she change them back without her aunts knowing? Thats for me to know and you to buy the book and read it!!!

The opposite of entertaining.
This book is very very boring, its not just boring its annoying and the story line is very predictable and dragged on.I kept reading in hope that it might just get better...only it didnt.It is the worst of the Sabrina series and you should not read it, instead you should read 'Prisoner of cabin 13' or 'sabrina goes to Rome' those are the best, as well as 'showdown at the mall' but any of the Sabrina series is better than 'Dogs life".

This is a good book to read
This book called Prom Time by Bobbie Weiss, and David Weiss is a good book. This book has two main characters Sabrina and Libby.They are fighting over who is going to be the ball of the party. Sabrina wants it this way and Libby wants the party to be her way.This may or may not be a good idea.The author wants you to know that fighting over something like that is not at all the way to sort things out. Use a different way, calmly decide what to do.I recommend this book to 5th graders and up, because it is an easy read and you can get a lot out of it.Also under the grade of 5 you won't really make a good impact on you.

Prom Time
I enjoyed this book, but it was not as good as most Sabrina books.Sabrina is mad that Libby is making the prom unfair, so she uses a fair wind potion.But she doesn't read the fine print, and doubles the wind, making it twice as strong and unstoppable.

Ok but should have been called 'fair wind'
It wasnt as great as 'Showdown At The Mall' or 'Prisoner Of Cabin 13' but it also wasnt as bad as 'Dogs Life'.Reading the title of the book makes you think its all about the prom when realy thats all talk untill the last chapter, what the book is actually about is a fairwind spell.The fact that Sabrina keeps been taken out to buy dresses gets boring after a while, i think this book is actually at its best at the beginning fading out as you go on.But i wouldent completly rule it out its written very well and i like the story line.I think it was better than 'Age Of Aquariums', i think all the Weiss' books seemed to drag but this was a good one. ... Fantastic story!
When Sabrina catches a twenty-four hour virus called Spellfluenza, her powers transfer to the nearest mortal - Libby, Westbridge High's richest and snobbiest person! Sabrina has a comen cold for witches. it makes her powers go from her to someone in the room with her until she sneezes in his presence. (No fake sneezes or with pepper) the docter say to stay home from school but Sabrina does not want to miss the try-outs! so she going to school-and gives her powers to Libby!! OH NO!!

Cell Phone Nightmare
this Is a GREAT Sab book ----it's SAD cause the next one she's in college and so this is the END of High School---But it's GREAT ---Very Sabrina --Very Entertaining and aFUN VISIT with Sabrina ----yet another learning experience that all things are NOT what they seem---If you are a fan __YOU WILL ENJOY this book!!!HIGHLY Recommended!!

Sabrina The Teenage Snitch!
this book was excellent! sabrina gets herself into all sorts of trouble when she buys a mobile fone from the other realm, she really wants to show off her new gadget to all her friends.Come on! its not every day you get to have something as cool as a mobile fone! The fone wont stop ringing whenevr ne1 including sabrina tells a lie or does something wrong,this leavesd her from being popular to a well known enemy! it got me thinking
right before sabrina sneeezes in animal communication class she is thinking about how the professer and his dog look so alike-ACHOO!!! all hte sudden her proffeser is acxting like a dog and the dog is acting like a... human!? then, when she's thinking about roxie and about how rude and 'venemous' she can be- ACHOO now roxie is acting like a snake1 freaky1 hten- sabrina's thinking about Morgan and a horse related issue-ACHOO! now morgan is on a grain and wheat 'diet'! something fishy is going on and sabrina wants to find out wat it is before the whole mortal relm is turned into a upside downn- indide out animal kingdom1 and quick!!! ... Lotsa Luck is Great!
It had loads of cliff hanger which kept you eager to read on. i couldn't put the book down and there was definitely no bad points about this book. I would rate it more than 5 stars!

The Halloween Machine

Scarabian Nights
This is one of my favorite Sabrina books!Sabrina, Salem, and Valerie go back to Ancient Egypt and the cat goddess Bast falls in love with Salem.They take away Sabrina's powers and she must find a mirror to get them back and save Salem.You should read it if you're a Sabrina fan.

I stopped reading the Sabrina series a while ago due to the last 5 or so books not been very good, but then I decided to give it one more chance and began my 25th Sabrina book "scarabian nights".I have to say that I was very impressed, I realy liked this one and was glad to see that Valarie was involved and its not about Sabrina and her family as that has got real old.I would go as far as saying this is one of the best Sabrina books, so read it!If you like it I also recomend "showdown at the mall", "Prizoner of cabin 13" and "sabrian goes to Rome".ENJOY!

My review of Scarabian Nights
I think Scarabian Nights is a pretty good book. It's basically about Aunt Vesta's gift to Sabrina, an "Ushabti," a little doll kind of thing. Sabrina wishes she could go back in time with her friend Valerie since she's bored. But she really doesn't mean to wish that. But the Ushabti really takes her back in time with Valerie and Salem, her magical talking cat. Queen Bast, the ruler there, likes Salem, and says she wants to marry him. But then Sabrina finds out the chilling secret: She sees cats turned to stone on the walls of Queen Bast's kingdom. Queen Bast had turned all the cats she was about to marry into stone! What can she do to protect Salem and get out of Queen Bast's kingdom with Valerie and back home!? I'm not going to give away the ending, but I can tell you a series of adventures happen when Sabrina tries to save Salem and get them all back home!Read more
