5-0 out of 5 stars A awsome teen romance
I thought that While You Were Gone is an awesome teenromance. I love all the books in the series but this one is defintlyone of my favorites. It kept me guessing and interested until the end. And unlike most teen romances the charcters won't unnaturally perfect. The charcters had many flaws and that was nice to see. A must read!

I simply loved this book mainly cuz it was sooooo sweet. The ploy wasn't all that great but the book was amazing . It's about this couple Patricia and Evan they're happy together but their happiness goes down the drainwhen Pat's old crush comes back. The rest of the story revolvs around howinsecure Evan feels how Pat feels her old feelings coming back. It's apretty good book. I wouldn't say it's brilliant but it's sweet. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars How cute!!!
I thought this book was okay, that I gave it 4 ****. All I can say that this book is unpredictable and I can't put the book down. Craig (main male character) is different from Jill. He's serious about life and...wants to make sure he accomplished his goals. While Jill, she always want to have fun and date, like 2 guys at the same time. If you really know about Sweet Valley High series, Jill will (hey, that rhymes! :) reminds you of Jessica Wakefield. It's weird that Craig and Jill are in love with each other. I guess it's true: opposites attract.

3-0 out of 5 stars OK
I didnt really enjoy the book , it was rather stupid to be honest . Its basically na episode out of the life ofJessica Wakefied nothing new or original . U cant really ask for originalty in Love Story books but this book was just ( I cant find the word ) ohyeh BORING . As hard as Itried I cudnt find myself caring abt the charecters , it didnt matter if they got together or not . So my advice read the book but dont expect too much out of it .

4-0 out of 5 stars Sweet and Simple

I thought this book was pretty good.Althoughthis is a well known theme about opposites attractit put a smile on myface. If you're looking for a book that doesn't have a lot of depth andemotions than I highly recomend this book to you. It's sweet and simple. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars I Love Ian!
This book was so good! It's one of my very favorites in the series, and believe me, I've read most of them. Anyways, it's basically about Ian, a junior, being in-love with Jennifer, this totally hot senior girl that just broke up w/ her long-time boyfriend. Ian and Jennifer are both in the same psych class and end up being partners for a project. So, Ian thinks now would be the best time to try and ask her to the prom. This book is SO cute! It also made me laugh, especially when Ian's trying to ask Jennifer to the prom (read it and you'll see what I mean). Kudos to the writer for the great plot and witty writting!

4-0 out of 5 stars Very well written
I thought the book was very well written and deep in it's thought. I am a hopeless romantic and I fell in love with the book from the start. I t kept me in suspence throughout the whole book. I could not put the book down.

4-0 out of 5 stars A good read!

5-0 out of 5 stars Not Your Run-of-the-Mill Teenage Novel
One thing that struck me about "Hot Summer Nights" is that it's not the typical light and frothy young adult romance novel. Aside from the romance, it deals with teenage pregnancy and holding on to worn-out relationships and wraps everything into a witty and bittersweet package. The heroine, Carly McFarlane, is definitely a person of substance with her own set of insecurities and a lot of teenagers can relate to her. This is one of the few stories that really stuck with me after all these years, and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes young adult novels.

5-0 out of 5 stars amazing book

5-0 out of 5 stars Why can't my life be like this book?!
I loved this book!I couldn't believe how much I cared about the characters.I even cried at the end which I never do.It's interesting, intelligent, and fun.I loved that the characters aren't the usualsteriotypical teen nightmare--the boy is a sculptor and the girl is abasketball player--but the writer doesn't hit us over the head with that. It's the kind of book where you feel like being best friends with theauthor.I definitely want to read all her books. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Sweet and funny
Anna is going away for the summer to Senaca Falls summer camp to be a senior counselor with her long time best friend Lucky. She's sad to leave her boyfriend Joel behind with her other friend Jackie, but can't wait tosee what the summer will bring her.Rugged Kerry Halley is drop-deadgorgous and Anna is have second thoughts about Joel. She accepts aninvitation from Kerry to go to the Fourth of July party and is reallyexcited - that is until she get's a letter from her last summer crush,Peter, and a call from Joel both saying that there coming down there forthe holiday weekend to see her. This major crisis of three boys in oneweekend has Anna dumbstruck and she has no idea what to do!This book is alot of laughs from lots of embarissing moments to suspense that makes youwant to skip down a paragraph or two to see what happens. In the end ofcourse she picks one and all is well. The only real problem that I saw inthis book is the romantic seens -a little too much mush for reality andyou might find your self rolling your eyes at some of the things thecharacters have say to each other. Still, it was a fun read and you justmight enjoy it.

3-0 out of 5 stars What a lucky girl!
To have a choice between three devoted andgood - looking admirers is a reality that Anna knows. From ruggedly handsome long-time boyfriend Joel, sophisticated and insincere Peter,to muscular, flirty Kerry,Anna has the kind of love problems that most girls want. Her silly and embarassing antics leave the reader cringing as she begins to discover which man she really cares about ... 3-0 out of 5 stars So-So
I liked this book but it wasnt as good as some of the other "LoveStories" I've read. When Lucas' car is hit by the new girl, Julia, heimedialty has something against her.And when Austin and Julia fall inlove it's the last straw. Lucas begins to start some nasty rumors aboutJulia, partly because he feels he's losing his best friend.read the bookif u want to find out want happens to Julia and Austin.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great book for those who Adore love stories
This is about a girl named Julia Marin, who just moved into the preppy town of Sulivan from the Big Apple,New York. She met Austin Worth when Julia and his friend got into an accident. She fell head over heels in love with him and they start going out. Then she met his best friends. They are so awful, and they dont like her at all. Then Lucas(Austins best bud)and his gang wants them broken up! and Now! so he starts spreading rumors about her stealing stuff. Now Austin is so confused! He is not sure if he should listen to his friends???? Or to the girl he loves???? This is a great book that you should read!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars sweet ending
Julia doesn't even fit in with the crowd in Sullivan High School. In fact, she doesn't even care what they think. Until, she falls for Austin and Austin's best friend, Lucas started spreading rumors about her past- which is of course is not true. Austin don't know who to believe or trust. In the end, he supported Lucas, and sort-of betrayed Julia. She felt so hurt and so betrayed that she doesn't even want to see him anymore until she learn to feel how he felt. A definite sweet ending and romantic too. I like it! ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Okay.
It was an okay book, but I didnt like Tashi right from the start. On like the second page she is looking in the mirror talking about how beautiful she is, and when no one asked her to dance at the prom, she said that the guys were losers with no taste for not noticing a beautiful girl. She was a stuck-up rich snob, and I thought from the start that Michael desearved better. After a while, her attitude got better, though, and it was a pretty good book, but Tashi's snobbish attitude toward anyone who had less than she ruined the whole book for me.

3-0 out of 5 stars Odd

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Read
This is a great read.I love the Love Stories collection, and this is definitely an A+ in the series.Laura has all the complications of a normal teenager, with nothing so dramatic as to make the book unbelievable, and the casual tension between her and Mark escalates as the book continues. If you're looking for a good book to sit down for 2-3 hours, and a guaranteed squealer, Stolen Kisses is a great book.Another favorite of mine is I Do, by Elizabeth Chandler.

5-0 out of 5 stars Stolen Kisses=Great Book
Stolen Kisses by Liesa Abrams is one of the best romance books I have read, and romance books are all I read. If you like any of the other books in the Love Stories series, you will definitely enjoy this one. On page 156, the main character, Laura, is talking about Mark, her best friends friend, and she says this, "He had turned into a good friend despite any weirdness between them". I think that this quote goes to show no matter how weird two people get after a period of time, they should still be friends. You never know if that person could be possibly one of you best friends. Also, in this book, it seems like that friendship is a key essential in life. I think that Mark and Laura are good friends because of one little kiss at a party because they don't want a possible friendship to just vanish when you never know what could have been. Like I said, I really enjoyed this book but, this book isn't for everyone, guys mostly, unless you really like romance.

5-0 out of 5 stars Reality
I loved this book because it wasn't a fairy tell story it was a story you can compare your life to. They had to fight and figure out what the wanted to have. I really recommend the book also the book I Do by Elizabeth Chandler. ... Read more

I have to give this book about 4 stars. It's an okay book. But never amaze me. Even though it's okay only, you should read it and you will find out if you whether you like it or not.

2-0 out of 5 stars annoying
i didnt really like this book all that much. i mean dont get me wrong its sweet and all but seriously, we want to relate to the characters. shauna is a hot, popular cheerleader whom a lot of guys adore, plus she has a hot boyfriend. now i dont kno about yall but not many ppl have this fairytale life. why should the popular one get to fall in love also. i liked chad but seriously can we get a real girl instead of the kind of girl we all love to hate.

4-0 out of 5 stars A classic case of romance
This book is a great read because it's what teens want to get out of a book.It starts out as Abby and Greg being best friends.Everyone knows that friendship is the basis of a good relationship so it's kind ofpredictable that they'll develope feelings for eachother.I'm not sayingthat that's bad because I love it when 2 people fall in love without evenknowing it.This book has a lot of twists that you don't expect.Such asboth Abby and Greg date different people before realizing what they had allalong.I would recommend this book to anyone. It's one of my favoritesout of the Love Stories collection!

5-0 out of 5 stars Very good book!
Kiss and Tell was the best Love Stories book I've read!Although you could easily predict what would happen, the book was very easy to relate to. Abby and Greg's situation could have easily happened in real life. I highly recommend reading this book!

1-0 out of 5 stars I HATED IT!!!!!!!!!!
Unlike most readers, I hated this book! I mean, come on, you knew these two were gonna get paired up! Even when they wern't a couple, they sure acted like one! I loved the book A Kiss Between Friends, and most of myfriends thinks the two books were a lot alike, but I hated this one! A KissBetween Friends had more meaning. I cried when I read that book, it was sogood! I cried when I read this book, too, because I was so happy I wasfinally finished with it! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good Book
This book was quite good, and Christopher is a very sweet and shy character. Some really funny incidents in the book as well. And watch out for corny lines. But overall, it is a very good book.

4-0 out of 5 stars different.....
This book is good although I don't really like these books. You can always predict what is going to happen. It was a good book(the words Michael said were stupid)but, hey,it's good otherwise. END4-0 out of 5 stars Different from the rest though it is nice to have a change.
Christopher MacAvoy is basically just a poor cowboy compared to his neighbour, Roxana Maslow. Both of them are attracted to each other but Christopher has problem opening his mouth whenever Roxana is around him. So he gets help from a cocky and irritating guy, Michael Serrano who provides him with endless romantic poems and quotes. It's nice to see that for once the guy is poor and not the normal tall, dark, handsome and rich, perfect guy in this story. Although the love poems do sometimes get out of hand at times and it makes you wonder what an idiot this guy, Christopher must be to take the bait from his so called friend. Has quite an unexpected ending though pretty predictable in some sense. Read it if you really want to have a change of environment. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars I loved how it was from the guys point of view.
I finally found a book that was from a guys point of view.I enjoyedreading this book more than any of the others I've read.I looked forwardto seeing more books from a guys point of view.

4-0 out of 5 stars Finally--a YA romance from in a guy's words!
The best thing about this story is that the main character, Rob, is not a total pig. Sure, he falls head over heels for a girl because of her looks. Sure, he acts like a loser whenever he's within a 50 miles range. BUT(here's the catch) he's looking for Ms. Right and looks are not necessarily the only important thing: HAVING A FEW FUNCTIONING BRAIN CELLS IS ALSO A PLUS. Wow, what a man! Anyway, he and his friends take a sun-drenched vacation on a beach loaded with beautiful girls. 2 of his friends are the skirt-chasing (in this case bikini) types and his other friend is a love-sick, devoted boyfriend pining for his girl back home.Rob is the only sane one. Throughout the story, Rob suffers disaster after disaster on the "Beach Babes" dating show and it looks like things will never happen between him and his dream girl. The MOST CHEESY THING about this story is the inside cover. It is almost an indecent picture of a boy in a bathing suit and a girl wearing the skimpiest of bikinis! Hey, I thought this was a G-rated romance series! The best thing about this story was that it was written from a guy's point of view, Rob's. (And they say that women are hard to understand. Ha! ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Great teen story
I use to love stories like this when i was younger and i still like to read them every now and then, I like it when love stories are simple like this sort of book. I always liked the ones where the two main chacthers hate each other guts and then fall in love, like this one. A good one, the whole series was good.

5-0 out of 5 stars Some Girls Do
The Characters in the story are Melanie,Shane,Katie,Melanie's dad,and Swiss Kriss.Melanie is the girl who falls in love with Shane. At first Melanie thinks that she hates him.She can't stand it when he's around her because he's always making fun of her because she is the principles daughter.
5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderfully written - more from this author, please!
Dahlia Kosinski is such a terrific writer - able to convey tongue-in-cheek humor through her characters with few words.Whenever I need a pick-me-up book, I pick up Some Girls Do.Don't be fooled by the fact that it's a teen love story - adults can enjoy this one, too!Kosinski deftly writes real "types" without moving into stereotypes, in this light, fast-moving, terrific romance. This will sound fairly odd, but I can never escape the impression that her hero, Shane Conner, is a *male* Pippi Longstocking - one never knows whether his tale is true or made-up, but it's always in honest fun. Some Girls Do has to be the best of the Love Stories. The question is - why did Kosinski stop writing romance? It's a real loss to the genre! ... One of my favorite books...read it and I promise you will not be dissapointed...it's got an different end to the book which i think makes it even better. I bet you'll be reading it over and over and over and over and, well u get the point. Anyways I think I've read it at least 10 times it got me crying everytime...but then again I'm really emotional...so read it and see for yourself how good it is!!

5-0 out of 5 stars READ THIS BOOK!
I love all of the Lov Stories becaus they are simple short romance novels that always end happily. But this one....well, it's was different. It actually made me cry, and I never get all sappy over books. But as I read this story, I started to think that I was Malory and that i was leaving Ben forever. I feel so bad for Malory. She is part of the iwtness protection program and can never people over or let anyone take pictures of her. She has to change her color of hair and wear contacts. Anyways, she moves to this strange town aftre a memebe rof the mob almost discovered her family in their last placement home. But here she is, brand-new and being made fun of becaus eof her out of date clothes and hair. But Ben is nice ot her, and his mom ends up being her music teacher and Malory happens to be a fantastic piano player. Well, Ben and Malory fall madly in love but....well, read this book and find out. Trust me, it's worth it. Also, read all of the LOve STories books. They are all very good-you won't be disappointed.

5-0 out of 5 stars YOU HAVE TO READ IT!
This is my favorite Love Stories book, and one of my favorites EVER! The plot and ending is SOOOO unlike a lot of these books, the ones about random people falling in love. Its about Malory Hunter, a girl who is in thewitness security pretection program with her family, who is being stalkedby the Mafia. She meets Ben Hunter, and they fall in love. Malory wants totell her secret, but doesn't want to put him in danger. So she decides notto tell. Until she finds out that her family may be moving again.... Thisbook will stay with you FOREVER, and you'll NEVER forget it! The ending wasrealistic, not the usual ending, which only makes it better. I hope thatthere'll be a second book to this, one where Malory and ben meet upagain.... ... Read more

I really enjoy this book at first. But when she when to fortune teller that when my interest for the book when out the window. I think the book had a good plot, but it include fortunetelling which is aganist my religion. If they took out the fortune telling it would be great read. I am writing this review let others know like me not to buy this book if fortunetelling is aganist your religion.

4-0 out of 5 stars The Cutest Love Story Ever
Am I Am, is a very compelling story that would make you want to read the whole book nonstop. This book would get you hooked from beginning to end. It deals with real life experience that goes on in todays world. It makes you see things in whole different perspective. You shouldn't change the way a person look, feel, or act. It would only make things complicated, it'll make you lose your love ones. You can give them advices instead of trying to rule their lives. Alyssa Naylor who is a teen model in highschool, loves giving her friends makeovers and dressing them up. She met a cute boy name Dante Michaels. They become closer while having to work on a project together for their English class. She soon changes the way he looks by giving him a haircut and gradually buying him expensive clothes and taking him out to fancy dinners. He soon relizes that he has changed and confronts her. He soon relizes that she changed him for the better. I recommend this book to teens who have problems accepting the way their boyfriends look, acts, and feel.

5-0 out of 5 stars This story is so cute!
I really like this story because there were alot of parts were I just wanted to say awe that was so cute. I think the characters relationship was a good relationship. They really help each other grow in different areas of life. Dante' help Lyssa grow in her career choices. Dante' helps her decide for herself what she wanted to do with her life. And Lyssa help Dante' grow socially.By introducing him to school dances and showing him how to have more fun with his life. In all relationship you should learn and grow from them. Which I think is a good thing. I think you should really check it out!

5-0 out of 5 stars Another Great teen Romance
This teen romance was definitly one of the better books in theseries. I love all the books in this series but this one wasdifferent. It showed teens in a different light. I think teens will appreciate the fact that the characters weren't "Typical" teens. Anyway, It was a very well though novel that was worth reading. ... Read more
