4-0 out of 5 stars Exciting yet lacks a good ending
This was the first Fear Street book I read. When I read a couple of others, I realized there was something missing in this one: a good ending. but i still rate it 4 stars since it's really intense in all the other parts of the book.
3-0 out of 5 stars it was an alright book
The book was about a teenage guy. Who's name was Bobby. He was like a High school hottie. Every girl wanted him, but he only dated girls because he wanted to keep a reputation for going out with the most girls in school. Then one day he was walking to his band practice. Because his guitar player in a band with his two best friends. Well they were practicing the Wade twin's walk in the autotorium.
4-0 out of 5 stars double date
this book was suspenseful, because you never knew what was going to happen next. but i thought this book was more funny than scary i wish it had been scarier like his other books are. i thought it was funny when all of his ex-girlfriends got revenge on him though ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Best One EVER!!!
This is the best book! in the Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys uper Mystery. Although it does have some questions such as how did Nancy get in the FBI? I don't know. Ifyou put that all aside, its and action packed aventure. Betrayl, adventure, and..... murder are all in this one book. This is a must read! (if you have read this already, read Evil in Amsterdam. That's the second best Nancy Drew and Hardy boys Super Mystery. ALMOST came in first but Spies and Lies pulled through!)

1-0 out of 5 stars I failed to suspend my disbelief...
To enjoy a work of fiction, you have to be able to suspend your disbelief. That is, the author has to give you a setting that you think could be plausible in this or some other world.4-0 out of 5 stars spies and lies....
i really liked this nancy drew and hardy boys super mystery. it was intriuging and suspenseful. i especially liked the ending of it because it was hard to guess who the culprit of the crime was. joe and frank's mystery was not as good as nancy's in the story though. which is okay because a lot of times their mystery is a lot more suspenseful. as for the romance aspect a different guy other then frank liked nancy and i really want nancy and frank to hook up so i was disappointed but overall it was a smashing book. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars "A Season For Goodbye proves to be worth it more than any other McDaniel novels"
A Season for Goodbye by Lurlene McDaniel gets the readers attention in every way possible. It has comedy, suspense which keeps the readers hooked to keep on reading and finding out what is going to happen next, a few conflicts that get resolved eventually and a bit of tragedy that brings tears to its reader's eyes. This novel revolves around three young women, Katie, Lacey and Chelsea. There is one thing that holds all three of the characters together and that is the Jenny House. The Jenny House is a house for people with cancer and they all get together over the summer to enjoy every bit of time they have left. The three girls get together this summer for the last time before heading off their own directions. All three have conflicts going on in their lives which they in the end resolve.

3-0 out of 5 stars Don't Buy Just for Jeff & Lacey
I am a huge fan of Lurlene McDaniel and the "One Last Wish" series. After reading "All The Days of Her Life" I HAD to find out whathappened with Jeff and Lacey. They are definitely my favorite couple!!!! and I wanted so badly to see them and read more of their story.

3-0 out of 5 stars Little Disappointments!
After reading the back cover of "Sins of the Father" I got totally excited! I thought Id finally found an actual Angel/Buffy story based on their pre-Angelus relationship. I have gotten really tired with all of the stories of the Buffy/Angel trials post season two. Their relationship just became too predictable. And I thought now with "Sins of the Father" it was going to be different. Christopher Golden came up with the best story/plot line. Pike, Angel. Angel, Pike. Past love meets the Present. Perfect! Think of the conflict. I was looking forward to Angel fighting with Pike for Buffy's love. But no! Of course not! It's based in season three. So if you are an extreme Buffy/Angel fan like me, you can see the disappointment with the entire situation.4-0 out of 5 stars Giles' dad a vampire. Huh!
This book is great for a good read(espicially if your a buffy fan, like me)can get boring in thhe middle though, but what gets me is that giles' dad is a vampire until the end when you find out the truth(they never mentioned that in the t.v series). Also pike, isn't he the guy in season two lie to me? anyway this is a good book with lots of questions to it and also good if your a big fan of giles.

5-0 out of 5 stars Sins of the Father
In the past couple of years I have read a lot of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer books and this one, Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Sins of the Father by Christopher Golden, has been the best so far. This book helps explain the connection between the movie and the TV series. The one character from the movie, Pike comes to Buffy and her gang, for help from the monster that has been following him. They all get together to defeat this "big-bad" like they always do. The past is pretty much revisited in this book.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Best!
I love this book. I had finished reading it and couldnt stop thinking about it. I first read it when i took it out of the library. But i had to buy it. My favorite character was Bobbi. I was so upset when she died. I have read all the cheerleader books and this is my favorite. I wrote a book that has cheerleaders in it but it is totally different. R.L Stine is a great author. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars The wisdom of a shorter book
In "The Wisdom of War" Buffy and the Scobby Gang find themselves in the middle of a war between two classes of ocean dwelling demons, ones that most vampires are instictivly afraid of.If that wasn't bad enough she gets thrown several curve balls to hamper progress. One is the Watcher's Council has sprung Faith from prison to help them clean up the mess (as usual, the Council has news they will not share with Buffy or Giles).Aslo a new supernatural hunting club has arrived in Sunnydale to sort of help.
4-0 out of 5 stars One of the Better Buffy Novels
As it is with most Buffy novels it isn't the monster that you are battling its the internal conflicts with the group. And when Faith is added to the Buffy equation things get a bit intense. Buffy has her own past demons to trump, just like new good girl Faith. And in the end this book is a thrilling ride with a wonderfully ending that gives you a sense of peace over the Faith and Buffy debacle.

4-0 out of 5 stars B and Faith!
This book was quite good.I LOVE how the author was very familliar with the show, and made the B and Faith relationship what it should be.It brought up her past and taking over of her body.Good book :).If only it was an ep! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars One of her best
As a reader who has read this seiries as well as the Dark Visions and the Forbidden game series, I can say that anyone who is a L.J. Smith fan is sure to love this book. It has romance that is not over the top mushy, and Smith incorporates real feeling into believable characters in a story that is sure to hold your attention until you have finished reading and even after you're done. I highly reccomend this book.

4-0 out of 5 stars Maggie and Delos are great together but.......
imo the rest of the story seemed alittle bit, I don't know it's hard to put my finger on it, but I quess it just seemed a little slow to me. The story is about Maggie who is trying to find her supposedly dead brother and who, because of her dangerous quest, is dragged into a land unchanged by time, a place of castles, and witches, and gorgeous vampire princes with hearts of ice. The chemistry between Maggie and Delos is great and Maggie, like Poppy, is not drop dead gorgeous as a human. She's just an ordinary girl with a big heart and extrodinary courage which Delos see's in her eyes and it attracts him to her. She is the warmth that is missing in his cold existence and the scenes where they are together just make me want to go "awww" because of how tender he is towards her. 5-0 out of 5 stars one of the greatest night world books ever!!!
this is really one of the greatest books i have ever read and own. i was fortunate enought 2 own all 9 night world books and im still waiting 4 strange fate 2 come out. neways this book tells about a gurl name maggie who searches for her missing brother miles after when he and his girlfriend slyvia goes out mountain climbing but then disappears without a trace. maggie doesnt trust slyvia and thinks she is lying about her brother's disapperance so she follows her and then is captured and taken as a slave 2 a kingdom that is owned by the Night World and is ruled by a young vampire prince name delos. this is one the books that deals with finding the wild powers and needing 2 find all 4 of them that are needed at the end of the millenium. this is one of the best lj smith has written and i hope she will continue writing more books for the series. keep up the great work. and i pretty much think that strange fate is NOT the last book in the night world series. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Very scary and mysterious book
This book is always keeping you on your toes you just never know whats going to happen next.It is one of the best books I have ever read! It's about this girl named justine and she is new at school and she wants to fit in so she decides to throw a party for some of the kids she wanted to get to know more. So she did and while they were at the party many strange things were happening like people went missing and even some one had died and you would never guess who was the master mind of all these strange things happening until you read the end of the book. This book is very good and i think you should read it if you like your heart throbbing threw the whole book.

4-0 out of 5 stars Be humbled by his greatness
This bloke who runs a small shop in this town of Springfield is a fascinating fellow. His insights to the workings of the modern world are fascinating. We should all aspire to be more like him. This chapbook of his philosophies is required reading for self-improvement.
5-0 out of 5 stars ...BEST CBG book ever!
CBG has always been one of my faves and this book does NOT let the hardcore viewer down. Rarely seen footage of CBG in the past and some of his more ridiculously funny Tshirts are scattered throughout the book. A must have for any Simps fan - especially on one of the funniest, yet rarely seen "actors".

5-0 out of 5 stars Very well done book in perspective of one of the most underrated characters
This entry into the Simpsons Library of Wisdom, COMIC BOOKS GUY'S BOOK OF POP CULTURE, is an excellent book for any serious fan of the show. Comic Book Guy, the nameless owner of the Android's Dungeon and Baseball Card Shop, has made many appearances throughout the series' history, but is one character that less frequent viewers tend to forget. He is one of the best on the show, however, and his sarcasm and wits make him very entertaining whenever he comes up in an episode.

3-0 out of 5 stars "That's Not What I'm Looking For..."
"The Harvest" is the novelisation of the first two pilot episodes of Joss Whedon's incredibly popular television series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". Richie Tankersley Cusick does an adequate job of transcribing the events of "Welcome to the Hellmouth" and "The Harvest" into book form, representing the characters truthfully, and making the action and suspense - well, suspenseful.

5-0 out of 5 stars Another Simpsons Triumph!
If the Simpsons are not on TV when you need your fix, plop down in your easy chair and open up one of the hilarious jam-packed comic books. Each book offers awesome full color illustrations along with bonus advertisements, shorts, etc. Here's what you get in this book:3-0 out of 5 stars Kinda good
This book, for me, is a combination of what makes the Simpsons great, and the bad that we don't see too much on TV. The book begins with "Be-Bop-A-Lisa" in which Lisa joins a band with Otto. This is oneof the better ones in the collection. Next, a short called "The End OfEl Barto" is a clever little police drama that is very funny.Unfortunately, the funniest thing about "The Greatest D'oh OnEarth" is the title. Homer is annoyingly meaner than usual, and theplot goes nowhere. McBain next is okay. Then, "I Shrink, Therefore I'mSmall" is an atrocity. I can't find one funny thing about this. Samegoes for the next short. Finally, "The Purple Prose OfSpringfield" is the best of the book. A Barney short at the end isgood too.

5-0 out of 5 stars Just like the show
I think this is one of the best products of the Simpsons yet!It is so much like the show - maybe even better (My mom says I should read more).I'm glad to see that HarperPerennial has taken the time to make a reallycool book like this. With 8 episodes in it, it's what every Simpson's fanshould own. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars One Last Wish
Lurlene Mcdaniel has written an extremely wounderful book called "One LastWish". Themes of discovering the tragic story behind a struggle for survival against impossible odds. The novel is written in first person narrative style by a character named Jenny Crawford. Who is Jenny Crawford? A 16 year old girl who struggles for survival and understands the love and friendships that develop into a legacy of giving. Falling deeply in love, Jenny dosen't really tell Richard Holloway the way she really feels about hime. Closer do they become after finding out that Jenny's life is completly destroyed with leukemia. Though towards the end of the story Jenny learned that suffering does not respect people and who they are. Knowing that she only had little time to live,Jenny made her grandmother promise to make sure she made out her will. She wanted to leave something meaningful behind. A special trust fund of one hundred thousand dollars, for other sick teenagers. Which she called it her "One Last Wish". As I read the story it made me feel all the pain Jenny had to go through, and even though she had leukemia Richard didn't care, and admired her with all his heart. Besides all the extreme characters,I really enjoyed reading this novel by Lurlene Mcdaniel. The imagery in this story gives you an exact picture in your mind, anthor good reason why I enjoyed reading this story. The story could have been better if the author would of let us know what Richard Holloway ended up doing in his life. After reading the pain Jenny had struggled with it was disapointing to read that she passed away. Reading this story makes you realize whats good in life, and the things you should appriciate. The narrator draws you into the world of Jenny Crawford, which is what a good novel is all about.

4-0 out of 5 stars Not Too Shabby
Being a pretty big Buffy fan, I always give the Buffy tie-in books a chance and usually I'm severely disappointed. But Christopher Golden's 'The Lost Slayer' (which is a compilation of a series of 4 previously released books) is actually pretty decent.Though its not without its faults, its one of the better Buffy novels I've read.
5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic televisiontie-in book.
*NO SPOILERS*
4-0 out of 5 stars The lost slayer, a good departure from the normal Buffy
Since this book collects the four books in the Lost Slayer series, it looked good to me becasue it's not the normal Buffy tale and takes a departure from the everyday or every rerun episode. After all it brings something new to the table. And I enjoyed it. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Good guide for first two seasons, wish it had third
I've got a copy of Topping's "The Complete Slayer", that covers all 7 seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer plus the Kristy Swanson movie, based on that purchase I decided to order this book from Amazon. If it follows that book in form and layout it will be an exhaustive guide to the first two seasons of Roswell, giving details most people would never think to look for. It should be well worth owning, especially with the DVD sets out for purchase now.
4-0 out of 5 stars Another Topping show guide..
Keith Topping has become an expert in crafting fun to read episode guides on our favorite tv shows (see his Buffy guide).Roswell has been off the air for several years but lives on in syndication (Sci-Fi) and picks up new fans (like me!) with every showing. This guide is great to read along with the episodes- it helps you get the very most out of each show.4-0 out of 5 stars Good but not great
Topping is always original, witty and high on irony.Reading his books can be more entertaining that the programme he is commenting on.For this reason, this is an excellent buy and well worth every penny (or cent) you spend.Topping writes a detailed account of every episode, yet more importantly he discusses issues that are raised, and is not frightened of being controversial or critical. While this is highly recommended, if you want to see Topping at his best, read his guide on buffy. It will blow you away. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars YES YES YES THIS ROCKS
this book rules the first story is a bit annoying carzy game shows, escaped criminals, famous pets, substitute teachers and find out which 2 students replace the teachers and find out who marrys maggie in the future(its Gerald the one eyebrowed baby) oh yeah u should buy this book NOW!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars "Yeah!Another Look at the Simpsons' Future!"
Seeing the cool cover artwork for this comic book (the Simpsons in straight jackets) I had high expectations for this book.At first, I thought I was going to be completely disappointed. The first comics are not very funny and almost as silly as the "Big Book of Bart" books. The first comic, "Journey to the Cellar of the Kwik-E-Mart" is annoying. It starts with a strange photo featuring such things as Lisa wearing a Squishzilla cup and a guy in a chicken outfit tied to the hood of a car and then takes the reader back in certain increments of time to explain the ending.I kept forgetting what the comic was about while reading it.The ending to "Tic Tac D'oh" is farfetched even by Simpsons' standards. In "Th
