5-0 out of 5 stars AMAZING BOOOOOK!!!!
This first semester I've been reading the Chicken Soup books during SSR time. One I enjoyed reading the most was the Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul IV, a nonfiction book. There are a few authors who submit their stories and they are all true. The authors who put the book together though are Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, Kimberley Kirberger, and Mitch Claspy. The book is full of true stories different people go through and deal with. They're either about friendship, making a difference, relationships, lessons and learning, family, tough stuff, overcoming obstacles, and growing up. My favorites are the ones about friendships and relationships. The main themes of what I read were friendship, love, and taking things for granted. Those are things everyone does at one point in there life.
4-0 out of 5 stars A Good Book for teens, but why such a long wait from the third one?
Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul books are usually inspirational.Teenagers can relate to their stories in ways unimaginable. It's a great book for teens to read so that they know that they're normal. It was why I read them when I was younger and why some stories still hold true today.
4-0 out of 5 stars No matter what, you'll find a story that touches your heart
This book contains a bunch of short stories about teenagers lives. It's both inspirational and creative. It really feels personal, because it's written by people like you!

5-0 out of 5 stars Best Simpsons Book Ever
This is the ultimate Simpsons fan's book. It has all of The Simpsons seasons 1-8 in air-order, so you won't have any problem finding them. There are a lot of pictures and colors as well. There are even a list of Homer's D'ohs, Couch Gags, and Chalkboard Gags for every episode. This is well worth the money you pay for it; definitely should be bought by any simpaholic.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Book for a Great Show!
I bought this book when it first came out, and have re-read it often (fully, and partially) since then.It is an excellent reference for any "Simpsons" fan for the first eight seasons of the show. The pages are full of episode summaries, quotes, and trivia facts from the show.It also offers profiles of characters, and a list of who does what voice.A great source if you cannot remember what guest celebrity voiced a character or any other information like that.I recommend this book for anyone who enjoys the "Simpsons" and wants to know more about the episodes.

4-0 out of 5 stars I Do Like A Man Who Knows His Simpsons
Almost everything you could ever think to ask about The Simpsons is in this book. What was Bart writing on the chalkboard in "that one episode"? It's in here. The plots, inside jokes, behind the scenes tales and more await in this excellent resource for fans. This book harkens from the Conan O'Brien-era prime of the series, up to about the late 90's, when the quality (sadly) slipped big time. This was the golden age of The Simpsons, back before the series "became a cartoon." (Anyone who was a fan back in the day knows just what I mean.) ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Fear Street Saga
I read this book a few years back, and the only word I can use to describe it is, AMAZING!!!!This may be one of R.L. Stines best pieces of literary work yet.I started reading the first book at nine o'clock pm, and figured I would just finish the rest the next day, and then the second book the day after that, and so on and so forth. No, I stayed up the whole night reading all three books I was that captivated by it.I highly recommend this book, it's also a fun book to read to your siblings.

5-0 out of 5 stars the best R. L. Stine saga ever!!!!!
I loved this book from 6 years ago i havent read it since but i know what its about. The Fier family and the Goode family have it in for each other and the mysterious murders don't even start there.. there are deep dark secrets from hundreds of years before that slowly become unraveled and also become regreted. This is the best Fear Street novel i've ever read and i dont mind reding it over & over.I just can't believe how so many spirits can take over an entire family's lives!!!!!The book is really creepy, & you can sometimes feel like you're there wanting to tell a person to do the right thing.I read it so long ago, & I remember faint details & names but i do recall the strong intensity of the book that didn't let me put it down for days until i finished. I was only eleven but i'm seventen now, and i really have to buy this book again!!!!!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars Best ones!
i read this book a long time ago and i still love it!!! i would recommend this book to anyone, even if its not your reading level. its so entertaining and you almost feel sorry for both families. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars a betraying story
This book 'The Betrayal' is about a revenge that had lasted for three hundred years. I loved it so much I decided to read all the sagas. It took me less than one day to finish the whole book. I couldn't put the book down that i took it to the dining room!
3-0 out of 5 stars my review

5-0 out of 5 stars An intriguing story with a chilling climax
I decided to read a few of R. L. Stine's work after a long time. Unable to put the book down, I finished reading it within a few hours, and was not disappointed when I finished. This just show that Mr. Stine can keep a reader of any age interested in his books.

5-0 out of 5 stars WOW!
When Kimmy saw Corky at the cemetery they watched her. Corky was in the cemetery mourning the death of Bobbi. When she saw Bobbi rise from her grave, she saw Bobbi. Bobbi's blond hair was caked with mud. Bobbi's mouth was about to open but instead a big fat worm came out. But it was another nightmare of Bobbi for Corky. This time, Corky had a boyfriend named Chip Chasner or Charles Chasner. Chip dumped Kimmy, his old girlfriend because he was liked Bobbi after Bobbi's death he liked Corky. When Corky was making hot chocolate something distracted her and she did not know the hot water was on her hand already so she burned her hand. When Kimmy saw Corky, Kimmy was begging Corky to sign in the cheerleading squad because of the double cartwheel Corky and Bobbi made. When Chip and Corky met Sarah Beth Plummer, Corky thinks something is strange about her. She knew the SARAH FEAR STORY!. When i was in CHAPTER 13, Corky heard a loud noise. When she saw Chip, she gasped in horror because his hand was cutted by a power saw. When Corky jumped in Chapter 20, she fell because Kimmy did not catch her. Kimmy told her she was paralyzed. When Corky was in home, she decided to take a hotbath. She was surprised to see Kimmy in the bathroom. But it was not Kimmy, Infact it was the evil spirit. The evil spirit explained why she killed Chip and Jon Daly, Jennifer's brother. When Corky was forced in the hot tub, she made Kimmy in the hot tub. When the evil spirit was gone, Kimmy was all wet. The next day, Corky saw a letter.
5-0 out of 5 stars IF YOU LOVE THRILLER BOOKS, THIS IS THE ONE!!!!
This book from R. L. Stine is the best book i have EVER read! If you love gore and thrillers, you would totally love this book. I think personaly the ages 10-15 would be the best ages for this book. There are 3 main charcters:Corky, Kimmy, and Debra. There is an evil sprit that goes and kills and many people that gets in her way. There is more gore in this book than the first one. (But not to where you couldn't read it). So far I have read number one and almost two books of this series, and I recomend both of them. But hey! That means you get to buy both of them, or all! Haha! Anyway, just to let you know, if you think Jennifer Daly diddn't die, you may be wrong. But im not telling!=]

4-0 out of 5 stars Absolutley Astounding-A sure thriller!
When I read the Cheerleaders Series, I wanted to see which book I liked best.Either The First, The Second, The Third, or The Evil Returns. So I chose The Second, for its thrilling story, another by R.L Stine.Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars A GREAT re-launch for this series!
This is a great re-launch for the Tom Swift series! An action-packed story, told in the first person (like the new Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys series) make this an entertaining read for all ages. The cover art/packaging is also very cool, appealing to new readers to this series and collectors of old. I can't wait for more, and hopefully a new Dana Girls series is not far behind! ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Not So Bad
I thought that in this book that you already know who the killer is but you really don't. It was good, not so bad. I think that if i had to choose between this and "Cat" by R.L. Stine. It would be a tie. But it was great and everything and I liked it. I highly recommend this book to everyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars I DARE YOU TO READ THIS BOOK!
This book was pretty good. I liket it. But it was pretty scary! It was about a girl who lived next door to her History teacher on Fear Street and her friends dared her to kill him with a gun. Then she lets some of her friends come over and then one of them got shot and didn't die. Then the girl gets the gun and tries to shoot her teacher. Then she heard a loud bang. When the cops came her friends were there and she didn't do it after all. They knew that it was the boy from her class because her teacher had a tape recorder and everything was recorded and they thought that the teacher was dead but he still alive.
5-0 out of 5 stars The Dare!!
The dare is kind of like a book that you want to read it. I would rate this book a 5 star because R.L. Stine is my favorite author and he's done a great job writing this book. You've gotta read this book. The Dare is about a girl named Jonnah and she can do anything to go out with the school's most popular boy. so when Dennis asks her out, she can't belive it,and she says "Yes!"Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Bed!
I read this recently, I finished it Halloween night. I was so scared, figureing you could not get scared from these books or any for that matter. 5-0 out of 5 stars Stine Returns With A Thrilling Trilogy
Lewis and Jamie just wanted some time to be alone in-between working hard in school, college applications, and after-school jobs. So the two seniors snuck out together. Each night, after their parents went to sleep, a little after midnight, they would head out. Then the trend caught on. Soon, Lewis and Jamie weren't the only teens sneaking out at night. First, they went to the old burned-down Fear Mansion, where rats and spiders were found in groups, but it didn't bother them much. Then the Fear Mansion was turned down, and the gang started hanging out at a new bar called Nights - built on top of the Fear Mansion. They were the Night People. But Jamie and Lewis, they remember the crazy stuff that happened, the stuff that caused them to be left back, and repeat Senior year, and leave them in the hospital for months. They all just wanted to have a good time, and hang out with their friends with no parents around to interfere with them. But then the nights turned bleak. Accidents began to happen, pranks gone wrong, and death. Now the Night People must find out the truth, before their secret is exposed.
4-0 out of 5 stars Moonlight Secrets
Well, I thought that Moonlight Secrets would have been better but it was good. When Candy always used to rub the stone I thought that she would have been doing all that stuff. When ever things used to happen she will be rubbing it and saying words nobody can hear. When cockroaches came out of his mouth that was gross! But the ending was very shocking.Once I found out the stone was fake I was suprised. I will be reading Midnight Games to see what happened. ... Read more

I must admit, I was never a Buffy fan until recently ( through syndication). So, I needed a quick reference to catch me up to speed as well as a episode guide/timeline to explain the ones I missed.
5-0 out of 5 stars Good Buy
I love this product. It condition was great and it got here faster then i thought

3-0 out of 5 stars Lacks the bite of the previous volumes...
I had this book for quite some time, but deferred from reading it until I re-watched seasons 5, 6, and 7 - which this book covers. If you are not familiar with the Watcher's Guides, they are books designed for Buffy fans filled with (in the past) episode guides, character summaries, memorable quotes, crew and cast interviews, and photos from the show.

5-0 out of 5 stars gossip girls from a guys' perspective
rummaging thru the teen section at the local barnes and noble.. i stumbled onto this book... i like to call these books.. THESE include gossip girl and any other book depicting teenage life at its best.. i.e. drinking, having sex, and having an abnormal sum of money to spend.. so. i like to call these books brain dead books.. why? dont ask.. so i bought this brain dead book with hopes of entertainment and a few dreamy moments, and i can proudly say that is exactly what i received.. entertainment and a few dreamy moments!

4-0 out of 5 stars sneakful sequel
More of the same great banter, brawls, and boasting from Jonathan Minter. Theres more story on the fifth Insider, Patch which is amusing; He actually seems quite sane, unlike the unravelling social-glue Jonathan. The guys show off their athleticism, or lack thereof which is hilarious.Plus a new girl with a new accent is a no brainer.200 pages I'd read again.

5-0 out of 5 stars better than the first
The second Insider's book was funny, enjoyable, and definitely better than the first. I thought The Insiders was ...meh- nothing special. But when I read the Insiders 2, I felt a lot better about the series. The second book is much more addictive and exciting than the first, and I suggest you read it even if you didn't think much of the first Insiders. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars a rich story( by Amy)
The 'Rich Girl' is one of the best story that R L stine wrote. I loved it so much I couldn't put it down. The cover has a handbag which made me think it will be a little boring. But remember, don't judge the book by its cover.

The Rich Girl was a good and exciting book.Emma and Sydney find a purse full of money that's filled with about one-hundred thousand dollars!!!!!!!!!!!Emma and Sydney swear to tell nobody, but Syd cracks and tells her boyfriend, Jason.Emma gets pushed done the stairs and accused Jason because she thinks that Jason is trying to kill her for the money.Emma fights back and kills Jason by hitting him across the head with a shovel.Emma buries Jason in the lake in the park.Sydney and Emma are trying to hide all the information.Sydney goes crazy and keeps getting letters from someone that says "Murderer."The Sydney sees Jason and he comes closer and closer to her until she passes out. Then Jason and Emma go and dig up the money.Emma gives the cashier the money and he laughs and says "Go get some real money."Emma is confused and looks at the money and sees Ben Franklin with a curly mustache and huge glasses.

2-0 out of 5 stars Confusing
This was a confusing book.It starts when Emma Taylor (Poor pathetic girl we feel sorry for) and Sydney Shue (Rich girl we feel less sorry for) find 100,000$ in a dumpster.Emma wants all the money, so she makes Sydneys boy friend tell him about the money.

3-0 out of 5 stars I never got this item...
I ordered it as a Christmas gift, but it became back ordered a few weeks after I placed my order.I'm sure it's quite good though.

5-0 out of 5 stars Funny Stuff
This is basically a disorganized mini version of one of those episode guides...only it focuses strictly on Homer. If your a hardcore Simpsons fan, then you'll love this book. If not, then I'm sure it will nonetheless crack a smile from you.

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect holiday gift for the Simpsons fan in your life!
This slim little volume features everything you'd ever want to know about one of your favorite Simpsons characters, Homer. The book opens with a timeline reviewing all the significant milestones in Homer's life, from his childhood antics with friend Barney to many of the family trials which have been chronicled on the show. The various "Homer's Haunts" sections describe in detail some of Homer's most-visited sites, including the nuclear power plant and (of course) Mo's.Also featured are significant people in Homer's life, from his workplace friends and enemies to the people who have almost ruined his marriage (eg, Jacques, Mindy). You'll also get a review of his many, many jobs as well as countless food-related references (including "Things That Sound Like Food but Aren't").Finally, the book begins and ends with Homer's Top 40 and his Bottom 40, respectively.A great stocking stuffer for any die-hard Simpsons fan! ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Better ending to the series than I expected
Several of the books in this series had a rushed feel to them, I thought the writing got better in this one.
5-0 out of 5 stars Coming Together To The End
Melinda Metz is a fantastic author. I loved her other Roswell books but this is, by far, the best one yet. I was jumping out of my seet from the first page. I love how Melinda ended the book, it was very twisty and tourney and almost made me cry. When I was done with the book I felt good to know what happens but I also felt sad to know that this was the end of Roswell. It's so depressing realizing somethings going to end.

5-0 out of 5 stars Michael and Maria Sitch
OK, this book, in my opinion was the best at the end for romantic reasons. Michael and Maria both had a thing for the other, but, yes, Michael is a little dense, and once he fooled around with this evil Cameron (as you can probably tell, I hate her). Finally though, Michael and Maria admitted feelings, and it was so sweet! (I'm Michael-Maria crazy). The bad thing is that Alex and Isabel practically said (yes, they did) they only wanted to be friends, which totally sucks. Another thing: Max and Liz have always been totally corny in the books, but this time, they crossed the line. They act all lovey-dovey even after Liz's problems with Adam. If you ask me, they're too perfect a couple to be real. All in all, though, this book really came through. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Welcome to the Night World
Poppy North is a typical sixteen-year old--she gets through school by being smarter than her teachers; likes to irritate her straight-laced twin brother, Phil; listens to New Age and techno music; has a secret crush on her best friend, James; and wakes up on the first morning of summer vacation before her senior year of high-school with nothing more paramount on her mind than what she can do with an entire summer spent with James.
3-0 out of 5 stars "Never Fall in Love with One of Them..."
L. J. Smith's fantasy/horror series "The Night World" deals with the existence of a secret society of witches, vampires and shape shifters, and how they interact with the inhabitants of the human world. Although humans have long since gained superiority in the world over the "Night World" minority, the supernatural creatures treat humans with distain and prejudice, often calling them "vermin" and plotting ways in which to regain power over the world.
5-0 out of 5 stars This book is amazing
If you get the chance to read this book do it.I read the entire Night World Series when I was in the 6th grade, 7 years ago, (with the exception of The Chosen because it was out of print so early on) and loved every one of them.A few days ago I saw my copy of this book lying around and thought hhmm...I should read this.I'm 18 years old now and I still loved it as much, if not more, as I did when I was 11.I've decided to read the enitre series all over again, which means I'm rebuying a few of them.Even if you're not really into Vampires you will love it, it has romance and a great story behind it. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars A little too much of a cliff hanger.
This was an ok read overall. It was, as the others in this series, a quick read. With this being a set up for five book story arc it was a little uneventful. The knights did get to tangle with a notorious bounty hunter, Boba Fett. He's on the cover so that was pretty apparent. The characters and plots are begining to get a bit repetitive, I hope when I'm able to find a copy of the following books they will improve.

2-0 out of 5 stars Young Jedi, An Old Dissapointment
Poorly written, a quick read..Overall the book seemed a bit rushed for my liking developing only a bit of the character relations. Also what about lukes birthday? Seems kinda odd not to celebrate the masters birthday. The book near the ending picked up abit, but it seemed the young jedi were always saved, or the luckiest people in the star wards universe, seemed like an amatuer right the battle script, so excited and not knowing where to end it.
