a little too much

This book is perfect for any simpsons fan.You can follow the entire show with this book.The funnest part is reading along as you watch the particular show, and find the little stuff the book puts out

Great Show, Good Book
This book is probably a must for any real "Simpsons" fan.It is full of summaries of each episode in the 13th and 14th season, as well as memorable quotes, interesting trivia, and things you may have missed.The book offers interesting character designs from different episodes, as well as on-going couch gags and what Homer likes ("Mmmm") and dislikes ("D'oh").However, I feel some of these things are just placed inside to make the book seem more full and deserving of $15.But, overall, I was very happy with the purchase and, as I stated earlier, I feel it is an essential for a big "Simpsons" fan. ... Deja Spike All Over Again
This book fails for a number of reasons, none of which is the writing.Gallagher puts in an honest effort, and if good writing was all it took to create a great story, Spark and Burn would be a success.Unfortunately, the problem with the book appears right on the front cover, where we are promised an 'original novel,' and it never goes away.
just plain bad
I agree with most of the other reviews, this book was horrible. I read the discription on the back of the book and was instantly interested ( being a huge spike fan ) and bought it. but I was very disapointed, the whole thing is just flash backs that come directly from the show and the autor didnt add anything. I would rather just watch the show!!! Plus the flash backs are out of order, leaving you confused. DON'T BUY THIS BOOK, YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Boring and Depressing
This book rehashes info from the show, no new material, and is depressing in that the Spike character acts more like Angel in his depressed, regretful view (one reason I'm not crazy about Angel.To mopey.)It may be important to visit this topic for character development, but the epi on tv was enough.It would be nice to have some fiction that tells Spike's story after "Angel", maybe with some Spuffy love. ... Another good book
This is the type of book I get a little sad when I get near the end. Must read!

1 of the best Buffy books
This is 1 of my favorite books ever, 1 f my favorite story lines was Blood and Brine I loved the pirate slayer. My favorite story in this book was the last 1 where Buffy, Willow, and Xander go back in time I loved the fact that Buffy got to see her mom again and that she wasn't stuck with Dawn for once. I think that when the show brought Dawn on the show and killed Buffy's mom is when they ruint Buffy, from the 5th season on the show slowly went downhill. I HIGHLY recommend this book it is definitely the best Buffy book in the series.

I loved this Book..........
I've always love BTVS because of the Mythology of the Slayer line and how she's Chosen and all of that, I also love the characters and how they're written so well.....But i've often wondered about Past Slayers, what they were like, and what their life was like because as we've always known, Buffy is just one of many Slayers throughout the Years. I loved this Book and how it told about Different Slayers from Different Era's and how that particular Era effected their Duty as the Slayer. Read more

chicken soup for teenage sould letters
chicken soup for the teenage soul letters is a book that has a lot of volumes. i really liked this book because it was very interesting. some of the stories were really sad and some of them were really happy.some people would talk about how their life was really bad and how they didn't want to live on this earth anymore and some were really happy love stories. this book was a book talking about real people and real things that happen to kids in their teenage year. when i read this i didn't get bored because it was very eye catching. it's like when you start reading it you just can't stop.
Good idea
I often wonder if other people have the same response to something that I read.This book lets me know that people do.

My Review
Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul: Letters is a collective book of responses to the first three novels of Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul. Each story is just as heart warming as the stories in the original book, but this time the stories are ones that occurred due to the previous books in the series. Each story delivers a heart felt lesson of an "oh well, I guess that my life isn't that bad after all, " or a "maybe I should change my life too". Many of the writers were going through times when they thought suicide was the best option or that there was no option at all, each writer then expressed their own reaction to the book and how their life was changed and put back on the right track. Within the contents of the book, I found some truly amazing and uplifting stories; one was about a girl suffering from the loss of her only sister and how each section of the book brought her to overcome her devastating reality. Another was about a girl who got copies of the book for the grieving students at Columbine. Each story was compelling, up lifting, and really let me see what living is all about.Read more

A Great Book In A Great Series
The novel is a great book to read.The novel flows perfectly; there is never a point when the story becomes boring.This is the best teen series that follows life though the eye's of teenage guys.The characters are all unique and accurate represntations of teens today.I would recomend this book to anyone!

One of the best stories i've read!
For those who get tired of always seeing bitching stuff and the teenage problems from a girl's view, this is a change and its really addictive! I agree with the gossip girl writer, the only cure is more. I cant put down the book and i'm already craving for the next sequel, which unfortunately will only arrive in november. The story unravels the lives of 5 A list guys, who are almost perfect but are made to face up with the problems in their lives, despite their good looks and credit cards. Great books, bad condition
I ordered my books from here and the hardcover came torn. I must warn you to be careful ordering books online, you never know what you're going to get. I orderd my books for $30. If I had orderd later I would of have to buy for $45. It seems amazon rose the prices. The price is the same as in the stores so I advise you to get it in stores because you never know what your going to get in the mail. Or you can wait till it's $30 again or buy from a seller. Now on to the books. This hardcover includes 3 books. The first one features seasons 1-8. The second one features seasons 9-10, the third one contains seasons 11-12. Each one contains things you might of missed facts and other stuff like production photos songs and more. I reccommend this for all simpsons fans.

This Episode Guide has EVERYTHING that you can ever imagine in an episode guide. From Seasons 1-12, it has details on every single episode. Its got quotes, what Bart writes on the chalkboard in the intro, couch gags, special guest voices, writers, screenshots, episode number (i.e. 8F05), air date, scene selections, runtime, and a whole lot more. All of this for only about $30, what a bargain. The Simpsons Forever!
I have the first book that covers seasons 1-8 and it is an absolute must-have for Simpson fans not in front of the internet who want to remember specific shows and lines from the shows at their fingertips. Not what I was expecting
When I first read the back of this book, I was so excited. It sounded like an excellent read. I waited until all three books came out and then I bought them.And then I read them, and was extremely disappointed. Burning
"Unseen" is a Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel crossover triligy focusing on a group of kidnapped teenagers.Salma, a privliged Mexican at Sunnydale Collage, goes to Buffy and Willow to help with her brother who went missing.Meanwhile back in Los Angeles, Angel gets involved with a man who was framed by crooked cops, and his psychic son.Cordelia and Wes track down a bunch of vampire worshiping teenagers.All of these stories do not come together in this book.But there is a lot of conflict; Angel seems at odds with Riley (Buffy's new boyfriend), LAPD detective Kate Lockly, and even Buffy herself.Xander get envious of Spike because of him and Anya having so much in common; Giles and Wesley have a battle of the experts.I liked this book, and I couldn't wait until the next one.One little problem is that the "Unseen" series isn't as good as "The Gatekeeper Triligy" or "The Lost Slayer" series, but still pretty good.

Vampire Diaries#1: The Awakening
I had so much fun reading this book that by the time I got to the end I was tearing my whole house apart looking for the next, I stole the first from my older sister and I never found the next :( so now I'm waiting for them to come in the mail, its really hard just sitting here typing about the first. I was so into the first that I read the whole intire thing in only three days. This book like all L.J Smith book is a must read. So far I've only read it two times in the last month, trust me thats good for my nirotic brain to function on any other books (but they happen to be by L.J Smith of course). So just take my word for it and read it. You'll never regret it!

not what i tthought it would be
It had a verry slow start and a lot of rmabling. I did fall in love with the mail charector even though I could not relate to the main charector it is kind of buffyesk. I identified the main character as cordila form the buffy serisbut still liked it. I was up set to find out the third book in the seris is out of print and hard to find. Good seris but don't start reading till you can get all the books.

More L.J. please
Not ONLY does L.J. Smith write in the beginning of these characters, she sets up a working reality that we, as the reader, can lose ourselves in. Luring you in with a timeless romance and a dark seduction, all with a haunting past, you won't want to put this book down. When I bought this book, I thought: "What the Hell, I might as well give it a read" (since I am a vampire book addict.) Come to find, I was at the same store the next day, buying the next in the series. Since then, I've read these books at least three more times.

A GREAT BOOK
Although I thought this book would be kind of wack it turned out 2 be a great book. And the ending is so shocking. This was one of my first fear street books and know I read a book of Fear street almost everyday. This book is surprising and u wont let it down until your finish it. A thriller

R.L. Stine books are still cool!!!
This book was very interesting.Right when I thought I had it figured out,it was something completely different.I've always loved R.L. Stine and this book didn't disappoint me at all.He has much better books,but this is still very great!

Chicken Soup the Real Deal: Friends
loved it
I really loved this book. I like reading the kind of books where other people tell there story and you can relate to it. thats why i realy love this book because all of the story;s you can totally relate to and it has stories that are just like the real life and high scchool and the things you go through every day.When i read this book it helped me like deal with things because it had like stories and poems of things i would be going through right then and to know like other kids go through them too and like all friends can be the same. I always enjoy these books and when i read them i cant put them down.

Great Holiday Gift!!
I saw this book listed as one of Barnes and Nobles holiday gift ideas... and it is!I got several copies for all my friends who have teenagers (and for my teenage niece and nephews).The book does a wonderful job of getting the teenagers point of view across through the personal stories, reflections and interviews.It's not an adult's idea of what today's teenage experience is all about (let's face it, many of us are long past that trying time) but approaches it from their point of view and articulates in a readable entertaining format for adults and teens.Another great addition to this terrific series. ... Amazing Book!
This book is amazing. Ross in this book is WAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYY two absesive about what his mother thought about him. The Confession was good. I thought that it probably wasn't but I remind myself that don't judge a book by it's cover. It was really good. It surprised me at the end. I didn't even get the killer right like I used to. And that's good in my suspense. If u haven't known. I'm writing my own book myself, it's called Vision Of Death. Guide for Seasons 11 & 12
This particular book follows the eleventh and twelfth seasons of the "Simpsons."We are offered summaries for each episode, as well as chalkboard and couch gags, hard-to-know facts and trivia, and character sketches and designs from various episodes.This is a great addition to the first two books in the series, but seems to be filled with some extra, not very essential material, just to seem larger and worthy of the price.Yet, in any event, I think if you are a big "Simpsons" watcher, or want to know more about these seasons, this book is a great purchase.

i love it
This book 'The Perfect Date' is so cool and full of mystery. I loved it that it took me only three hours to finish it. This is probably one of the best fear street book i've read.

Dating Is A Scream...
Brady wants nothing more than to put the past behind him. After the sledding accident one year ago that left his girlfriend, Sharon, deformed and dead, he wants a fresh start. And that means a fresh start with girls. Sure, he's Mr. Popularity when it comes to the ladies, but Brady has been unable to stay interested in one girl for long. That is, until he meets Rosha. Rosha is gorgeous ten times over, and is really into Brady. The only problem that comes to Brady's mind when he's with her is the fact that he always gets hurt. Rosha seems to be carrying around some sort of curse that hits Brady each time she's around. Then there's the girl with the scarred face that keeps following Brady around. A girl who looks a lot like Sharon. But Sharon's dead...or so he thinks.

Very Funny!
I got this on my 13th Birthday it`s sooooooo funny! but some of them aren`t about Bart. My favorite stories in this book are: "Big Fat Trouble in little Springfield","Bully For You" And the others in "Bart Simpson: Nature Boy". I loved this book immidiatley.

Fun!
Awesome! This is a great book! My Parents Don't let me watch the TV show. So I checked this book out of the library.I loved it! It was not very funny, but I still enjoyed it. My favorite comic strip is Bart's Trip to the Zoo. I would recomnd it to anyone who is a fan of the TV show, or anyone in the 8-10 age group.

You'll need a seatbelt, this is one bumpy ride!
WOW!That was a whirlwind of chaos and loose ends never tied up.
Didn't care for the characterizations
This book seemed pretty flat to me, compared to the characters on the TV show.Especially the sub-plot surrounding Spike.There was a lot "happening" in this book, but I couldn't be moved to care much.Unlike the show, where you can go from tears to laughing out loud in a heartbeat.

Loved it
I heard these were coming out, and it was approaching my birthday of last June, I got thise and play tickets from my mom after serious begging. She bought me them as soon as each one came out, funny thing is my best friend who doestn live at all close to me, got me the first one. But this is on the third one, it was a very well written book. The scenes between Buffy and Angel were pricless and touch the b/a shippers heart. A problem was of how much Buffy acted as if she loved Riley more than anything of the world, and Angel was past, why he dreamed about her and their forgotten day. Otherwise it is a good read, as a fan of either show, or the B/A or even b/r(gag) relationship. Just one thing to people who read my review or somethign that would never happen Nancy and Jeff read this, what the hell happend to Spike?!
