I've never read anything like this book (and that's a good thing). To say any more would be a bad thing. Just read it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Grand and Humble Review by Nick
Grand and Humble was awesome! It was a one of a kind book, and I have never read anything like it.I was always wanting to read more and find out what would happen next.Grand and Humble is about two boys, Manny and Harlan, that each live totally different life styles.Manny is a geek, with not a lot of money, and lives in a small house.Harlan on the other hand, is son of the senator, has more money than he knows what to do with, lives in a huge house, he is on the swim team, and on top of that he is the school president.
4-0 out of 5 stars Compelling, adventerous, and psychological
This book is about two boys, Harlan and Manny. Harlan is having terrifying premonitions that leave him questioning them. Manny is having nightmares that he thinks are concerning his past. Little do the boys know that their problems have to do with their past and present lives. It turns out they know less about their past than they thought.

4-0 out of 5 stars Slow Moving Story, Interesting Characters
This story is narrated by a 12 year old girl named Britt Lassiter. Her older brother gets a summer house sitting job on the Gulf Coast of Florida for her and her monm, who is studying to eventually become a doctor.
3-0 out of 5 stars THEE MUST READ THUS BOOK!!!!!
Could you trick your mom and sister into staying in a house you weren't supposed to be in? Bran is trying to find his moms parents. First they disowned her because she got married to a guy they don't like. Then Bran gets his mom and sister to move to Florida where he found where his grandparents live on the computer. Bran thinks he found his grandparents, but hasn't told his mom yet because she doesn't like her parents anymore. Also Bran started to mow his grandparents grass, but his grandparents never found out that that he is their grandson. Then Bran told his sister "Britt" and his mom that the people that own the house said that they could watch the house for them while they were gone. When they move into the house to watch it Britt notices that Bran keeps acting strange. Like he never lets them use their silverware he never lets his mom and Britt turn up the AC when its about 94 degrees out. This is a good suspenseful and mysterious story called "The House on The Gulf" By Margaret Peterson Haddix. Can Bran get his mom and his grandparents to like each other again? And what is Bran hiding from his sister and mom. Read this book to find out!

5-0 out of 5 stars The House on the Gulf
The House on the Gulf is one of the best books I probably ever read. It is such an amazing book and I could never put it down! It's filled with suspenseful events and you think you know what happens next, but then something else suddenly happens. I love how Margaret Peterson Haddix handled this book and I recommend it to anyone. I love how Margaret Peterson Haddix ended the book, too. The fact that the mom had a horrible life when she was in high school was very sad, but this book shows how the mom, Bran and Britt stick together without fighting or showing hatred towards each other. It shows how even though a family might not see each other every minute of everyday, but they still stick together and help each other out. Definitely a 5-star book! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Stine Returns With A Thrilling Trilogy
Lewis and Jamie just wanted some time to be alone in-between working hard in school, college applications, and after-school jobs. So the two seniors snuck out together. Each night, after their parents went to sleep, a little after midnight, they would head out. Then the trend caught on. Soon, Lewis and Jamie weren't the only teens sneaking out at night. First, they went to the old burned-down Fear Mansion, where rats and spiders were found in groups, but it didn't bother them much. Then the Fear Mansion was turned down, and the gang started hanging out at a new bar called Nights - built on top of the Fear Mansion. They were the Night People. But Jamie and Lewis, they remember the crazy stuff that happened, the stuff that caused them to be left back, and repeat Senior year, and leave them in the hospital for months. They all just wanted to have a good time, and hang out with their friends with no parents around to interfere with them. But then the nights turned bleak. Accidents began to happen, pranks gone wrong, and death. Now the Night People must find out the truth, before their secret is exposed.
4-0 out of 5 stars Moonlight Secrets
Well, I thought that Moonlight Secrets would have been better but it was good. When Candy always used to rub the stone I thought that she would have been doing all that stuff. When ever things used to happen she will be rubbing it and saying words nobody can hear. When cockroaches came out of his mouth that was gross! But the ending was very shocking.Once I found out the stone was fake I was suprised. I will be reading Midnight Games to see what happened. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars a must have!!!!!!!!!!!
I must admit, I was never a Buffy fan until recently ( through syndication). So, I needed a quick reference to catch me up to speed as well as a episode guide/timeline to explain the ones I missed.
5-0 out of 5 stars Good Buy
I love this product. It condition was great and it got here faster then i thought

3-0 out of 5 stars Lacks the bite of the previous volumes...
I had this book for quite some time, but deferred from reading it until I re-watched seasons 5, 6, and 7 - which this book covers. If you are not familiar with the Watcher's Guides, they are books designed for Buffy fans filled with (in the past) episode guides, character summaries, memorable quotes, crew and cast interviews, and photos from the show.

5-0 out of 5 stars a rich story( by Amy)
The 'Rich Girl' is one of the best story that R L stine wrote. I loved it so much I couldn't put it down. The cover has a handbag which made me think it will be a little boring. But remember, don't judge the book by its cover.
5-0 out of 5 stars In your face Emma and Jason, you can't mess with Sydney
The Rich Girl was a good and exciting book.Emma and Sydney find a purse full of money that's filled with about one-hundred thousand dollars!!!!!!!!!!!Emma and Sydney swear to tell nobody, but Syd cracks and tells her boyfriend, Jason.Emma gets pushed done the stairs and accused Jason because she thinks that Jason is trying to kill her for the money.Emma fights back and kills Jason by hitting him across the head with a shovel.Emma buries Jason in the lake in the park.Sydney and Emma are trying to hide all the information.Sydney goes crazy and keeps getting letters from someone that says "Murderer."The Sydney sees Jason and he comes closer and closer to her until she passes out. Then Jason and Emma go and dig up the money.Emma gives the cashier the money and he laughs and says "Go get some real money."Emma is confused and looks at the money and sees Ben Franklin with a curly mustache and huge glasses.

2-0 out of 5 stars Confusing
This was a confusing book.It starts when Emma Taylor (Poor pathetic girl we feel sorry for) and Sydney Shue (Rich girl we feel less sorry for) find 100,000$ in a dumpster.Emma wants all the money, so she makes Sydneys boy friend tell him about the money.

4-0 out of 5 stars not bad
not exactly the ending i expected but it works. only i wouldve liked to find out what happens next.

2-0 out of 5 stars An ending?
I will split this review into two parts: the plot and its place in the series of Everworld. First, about the plot. Hey, the story was not bad, it's just they too easily beat Hel. I dont think Hel even tried her best. That got one star off for not being exciting enough. Second and lastly, it's place in the series. This is where matters start to go bad. I think it leaves the same number of questions unanswered in our minds, if not more. Like, what actually happened to David when he was small? How did Senna turn Jalil obsessive compulsive? Who is that stopped Jalil being obsessive compulsive in Everworld? And some new ones, such as how will Christopher and Etain turn out? Will they meet the Greek gods again? And the most important question of all: How will Everworld turn out? This got two stars off. I don't think this is much like an ending.

4-0 out of 5 stars Captivating and Gripping
After reading this, I knew it was my favorite book. Yes, the ending was rushed, but still, the author was so descriptive, I was there. Literally, I was living in this alternate reality. I loved it. Unfortunately, I haven't read any of the previous ones, and I won't now because I know the ending. But this book definetely deserves an A.

5-0 out of 5 stars The first Christopher Pike Book I ever read
I read this book when I was 15 which was years ago.I loved it and I was hooked on Christopher Pike books for the duration of my teenage years!Yes, it is listed as a book for young teens, but Pike's stories are gripping and great entertainment at the sametime.I read great works of literature during my high school years, but I liked to read fun books too.At least I was reading.A group of friends, a vacation, young people in love and/or lust,a mystery--it may sound like a formula story but its a formula that works.I've moved on from these teenage thrillers, but every now and then I think back to the books that I stayed up all night reading in my youth, and I remember Weekend, Spellbound, See You Later, Final Friends, Remember Me, etc.I need some summer reading and I just may read the books he's published since I graduated from high school.Maybe I'll start by re-reading Weekend. My 12 year old niece loves his work too.Maybe we can swap books.

5-0 out of 5 stars Read this when I was a kid
I am now in my late twenties and I read almost all of Pike's books when I was 12-14 or so.I loved them and they didn't screw me up or teach me bad morals (geez, people, teach your kids the difference between fiction and reality and don't count on horror novels to teach your kids morals.seriously.)Anyway, I am now a functional adult and look back on those books fondly.I recommend them to anyone in their teens.

5-0 out of 5 stars This book was the bomb
I recomend it for ages thirteen and up because it has alot sex, drugs, and alcohal referance. It also has alot of violence. But this book was so great i cant even begin to describe. It was my FIrst christopher Pike bookthat i read. He is an outstanding author. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The most fantastic and adventurous book ever!!!!!
I think this is one of the best books I have ever read.It is jam packed with adventure and had me wanting to read the next one.I was really suprised when someone died, because I was hoping they would be able to get revenge on Talon.I felt really sorry for Jake.Even though they just started going out, I could tell that he loved her more than anything in the world.I think it is sad that he lost her so quickly. They would have made a great couple. All in all I really love this book and would recommend it to any one who likes action filled books.
5-0 out of 5 stars Misson Three...worth 5 stars...
Installment three of Spy High takes us into the past of Jennifer Chen. We see what this young girl had to live with and what she is fighting for. This book is great because it turns out to be much darker than the first two. Also, it doesn't deal with international terrorism like the last. It deals with gangs and drugs, an issue that is more close to home and many more will be in contact with. Though, it does involve international politics with a country that will be encountered in Series Two. As teens read this, many will get their first insight to the effects of drugs and other controled substances as well as what the world looks like with no hope or desires left. Though many may say it;s not the best one of the series, Mission Three: Serpent Senerio is probably the most important not just for Jennifer Chen, but for all who read it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Serpent Scenario Review
Why hasn't Spy High:Mission 3 The Serpent Scenario won a Newberry Medal award yet?The book is an engrossing tale of espionage packed with kung-fu action: this book is as absorbing as a match between world championship fighters! In constant battles, Bond Team deals blow after blow to its enemies.Yet the continuous combat never breaks the smooth flow of the author's plot and language. The story moves forward quickly as Jennifer Chen, a member of Bond Team at Spy High, attempts to avenge her family's murder. It swiftly continues when she dies and Bond Team vows to avenge her death. The author also always manages to maintain a suspenseful mood, but the story is particularly suspenseful when Jen must battle Talon, her arch rival and the murderer of her family. The author also includes descriptive poetic language that is sure to leave any reader feeling as if he is living the experience firsthand. For example, when describing Undertown, Los Angeles, the area where Jen grew up, the author writes: "[The moon] hung low in the night sky, as if it hardly had the strength to keep itself from falling, and it had the sickly paleness of an invalid."(pg. 3).Anyone who likes spy books must read The Serpent Scenario; it's bound to satisfy even the most fastidious reader.I give Spy High: Mission 3 The Serpent Scenario a perfect 5 out of 5. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars No consequences -- welcome to Ingrid's Magic World
Okay, I admit I'm out of touch.Choose, in fact, to be out of touch with a society that is determined to pretend that all of history has just been leading up to today's state of utterly amoral "tolerant" enlightment.
5-0 out of 5 stars How is a raven like a writing desk?
Sometimes, a character can make or break a story. In this case, Ingrid, Sherlock Holmes fan and all-around extraordinary 13-year-old, steals the show. This a tween books adults can enjoy -- at least this one did.
5-0 out of 5 stars in love with the characters
This is a great book. I fell in love with the characters from the first few pages, and could not put the book down, wanting to find out more about them.

3-0 out of 5 stars Come to the Dark Side
The book The Other Side of the Dark by Joan Lowery Nixon was a mystery that told how 17-year-old Stacy uncovers who shot her and her mother 4 years ago after coming out of her 4-year coma. I found this book to be very interesting. Several times after I was done reading a chapter I started thinking "Wow didn't see that coming" or "Oh my god what's going to happen next", I didn't want to put it down.
4-0 out of 5 stars Book Review
The plot begins when Stacy McAdams awakes form a comma of four years. She soon discovers that she is the only witness to her mothers murder and determined to find the murderer and the person who put her in all the pain. Stacy misses four important years of her life High school, and everyone moved on without her. At the time of the accident Stacy was thirteen now at seventeen she tries to remember what happened that day. She has vague flashbacks of the incident but nothing recognizable to ID the killer. Joan Lowery Nixon kept the murderer close by but far enough to continue guessing throughout the novel. The novel combines elements of flashbacks, and suspense to create a good novel.

3-0 out of 5 stars The Other Side of Light
Have you ever been in a coma before? well my friend was in the other side of dark and she was also mother less because she and her mother was shot but her mother did not live andStacy did but she was in a coma.

5-0 out of 5 stars This book is ....what's the word....Fantastic....no,thats not it! I think the word is Brilliant! There is no word good enough ...
This books is great, the storyline is wonderfully written. The idea is original and it literally draws you in...I definitely recommend this book.It is very sad at certain points and you even feel as though you are in the story...Yes,it is that good...Nigel.

4-0 out of 5 stars Remember Me by Christopher Pike
The book Remember Me, by Christopher Pike, is a well written book about a young girl trying to solve a murder. Her murder. From beyond the grave.I thought the topic itself was very unique and intriguing itself. The concept of a girl struggling to prove herself innocent of suicide was originally and moving.I really liked how Christopher Pike didn't lower himself like most adult authors, but wrote as if young adults have a mind of their own, a brilliant mind at that.
5-0 out of 5 stars Forever a Pike fan...
Christopher Pike...I always wished I could meet this author in person to tell him how profoundly his books touched me.I am glad to see I'm not crazy and that 10-15 years later, I'm not the only one who will never forget his books and still remember the characters as vividly as the very first day I read about them.

5-0 out of 5 stars TAKE MY WORD> THIS BOOK IS GOOD
i loved this book a lot. BEsides the nancy and frank aspect, there was a lot of action, bombs, knives, terrorsits etc..of course the nancy frank thing convinced me to buy the book, but i enjoyed the mystery a lot too. I also likes how nancy is portrayed in this book, not like in Operation titanic or royal revenge, she is very clever. also Unlke all other super mysteries, Frank's thoughts and feelings are portrayed deeper than all other characthers. And there are some funnny things and comments going on between the brothers.

5-0 out of 5 stars Nancy and Frank Forever
I think that Nancy and Frank should dump their boyfriends and girlfriends and stay together. I mean they are obviosly perfect for each other. The best parts are when they almost kiss. But when they kiss, that was good too!!! This is the best book ever!!! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Spy High Book Review
This book is a very cool book. Its about 2 teams solo team and Bond team, there competing for the sherlock sheild.Outside of spyhigh , a terrorist organinization is about to send its first explosive announcement...its called C.H.A.O.S...ITS A SUPER VIRUS.its deadly too.

4-0 out of 5 stars Spy High Mission 2
Bond Team and its leader Ben Stanton is competing for the sherlock shield vs. Solo Team and its leader Simon Macey. Bond Team is doing anything they can but Solo Team is trying everything to stop them from going to the Deveraux hall of fame or from winning the Sherlock Shield. Spy High is an organization of terrorists about to do something that may be deadly.
5-0 out of 5 stars The story continues...
Where the first book left off, this one picks up. The second installment of twelve, Chaos Rising dives right into the action. The first book (mission 1) had to cover backgroud stories, character profiles and general setups. Now that all that is done, these books go straight into action from the start. Not just an adventure story, these six characters are coming of age in these books. Part of the enjoyment of any series (Harry included) is that you can witness these characters change over a longer time than just in one book. Not only do they deal with world terrorist, but also personal relationships and the ineveitable identity issues we all must go through in the teenage years. For anyone just looking for something fun to read that isn't a huge investment in time, money or energy. Though, once you start you'll want to read them all. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars The Haunting
I LOVED this book!!! It does get pretty scary near the end but knowing that with God we can triumph over any demons helps. And the situations The Williams' find themselves in with demons are exxagerating to crate suspense and drama. I recommend all the Forbidden Doors books! The Haunting and The Gaurdian were my favorites.

5-0 out of 5 stars A great book!!!!
It an extremely good book. Though i wouldn't let someone who get scared easy read it. It gets kinda scary at the end. It has to be on of the best in the series
