5-0 out of 5 stars Hey Babes, I'm Back!
EXCELLENT!!! The characters were same old, same old goofy Rick and serious Claire. I'm glad, because I just got over having nightmares from the last one. A must-read, I highly recommend it.4-0 out of 5 stars NOT WHAT I EXPECTED IT TO BE.
This book was very interesting from the beggining to end. It was not quite what I expected it to be until the woman Jenny babysits for said something about a child being murdered in the house before they movied in. I thought the babysitter was more interesting. I have not read part 2, or 3 but they both sounded interesting. I think R.L. Stine fans would love this book it had a very shocking ending though. I hope this review helps

5-0 out of 5 stars THE BEST THING SINCE SLICED BREAD
The Babysitter 4 is the best book I've ever read apart from The Babysitter. You'll never be able to guess the root of all the horror going on as Jenny, in spite of what she's been advised, takes yet another babysitting job. Unlike the past books in the series, this one is totally different and original. It's not about murder and rage and craziness. It's about mysterious sightings, noises, and stories. What's happening to Jenny? Is she being deceived by her own mind, her own eyes, her own ears? Or is there something else going on? This book is suspensful and will keep you guessing till the end! Highly recommended! 5 STARS! ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars A little boring
I liked the tv show better.I was getting bored with Willow contemplating all the time.Thinking about Tera wishing she was alive again. Revenge, revenge, revenge.I guess I thought Willow would be kicking Buffy butt like she did in the show.I guess I expected there would have been more of Buffy trying to save Willow from the evil within her type of thing after all they were best of friends.I never did like how they developed the Willow character anyway.

5-0 out of 5 stars Willow Rules!
I love to play the "what if" game and this is a really good book that shows what could have happened if Xander hadn't gotten through to the "good" in Willow when he reminded her of he yellow crayon. It felt almost like watching a Buffy episode.Well written book - I will watch for more of Ms. Mavarro's writings.

4-0 out of 5 stars Keeps Getting Better
Wicked Willow Book 1 was so great that I did not think that it could be topped. Well... I was wrong. Book 2 was the perfect sequel. Just like Book 1 as I was reading I could actually picture the characters in their environments and expressions. Yvonne has nailed the the "Buffy" way of speech perfectly. Joss Whedon could not have written a better plot or dialogue.

1-0 out of 5 stars Badly written.
I did not like this book. At all.
3-0 out of 5 stars Didn't live up to my expectations
Cursed, according to the inside flap, takes place in an alternate-continuity between Buffy's fifth, and Angel's third seasons.Yet, in spite of that message, I found while reading the book that the timing felt off -- way off.Like maybe this should have happened after Buffy's sixth season, because of the relationship development between her and Spike or at least during, because Connor's infancy also plays a role in the story.Nonetheless, the story tells the tale of a gypsy artifact, a woman who played a role in both Angelus and Spike's history, and a desire to keep the artifacts out of the hands of the bad guys. With Angel on a mission from Giles, and Spike trying to get some money to pay off a loan shark, both of our vamps are in L.A. trying not to let their past destroy their future.Of course, Buffy, at least in Spike's mind, hangs in the background over both of her lovers.
5-0 out of 5 stars Wonderful Novel
This was a novel I wasn't sure I would like, since I am not a big Angel fan (neither the character nor the series), but I was pleasantly surprised. Mel Odom has written a complex, captivating story. All the players are wonderfully kept in character, with no continuity problems or slip-ups, as has happened with other writers.

5-0 out of 5 stars Wounded #1 (The Wereling) the best
This book was really great and i think that all young adults should read this at some point in time.

5-0 out of 5 stars A Great Start to this YA Werewolf Trilogy
Sixteen-year-old Tom Anderson is a typical teen.Ticked off to be spending his summer vacation with his parents and younger brother, Tom storms out of their rented cabin in the Seattle forest, needing some time to himself.Next thing he knows, he's wading in a fast-moving river, with a bear between him and freedom. After being tossed unmercilessly down-river, Tom passes out--and awakes in a strange bed in a strange house.

5-0 out of 5 stars Best darn book on earth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! : ): )
Someone at the Door is the best most suspenseful book I've ever read! It has only one little inappropriate part, but i read it and never even think about it. the characters are all teens. The parents of two young girls are gone. Then, two young strangers show up at their door. This isa whirlwind of suspense and murder!!!!!!!!! you'll love it!!!!!!!!
4-0 out of 5 stars The ending is so surprising!
This book is about Hannah and her younger sister Meg who is in ninth grade. They get stranded at home during a huge blizzard, and their parents are not home (I forget where they are), so it is just the two of them and their dog. To make matters worse, the two girls heard on the radio that there is a killer loose.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best book ever!

3-0 out of 5 stars A good read, even if not amongst Sleator's best efforts
Imaginative, thought-provoking, & suspenseful sci-fiis the hallmark of all Sleator's works, and this one does not disappoint. The concepts of quantum physics which drive the story are intriguing and Sleator has done a good job of explaining them to his audience. The action is slow at the beginning, but the story picks up pace as Susan & Gary begin to visit the maze and to comprehend its effects. The ending was completely unexpected, as is typical of Sleator.
5-0 out of 5 stars William Sleator, The Man Who Will Rule The World
i first read William Sleator when i picked up The Green Futures of Tycho i fell in love, then i read the Boxes then i read this, this is the best book by William Sleator. 4-0 out of 5 stars A satisfying read
When I first saw this book, I bought it on a whim. I thought it would most likely be a juvenile, silly book that romantisized gothic horror. It DID romantisize horror, but in a rather appropriate way. I have to admit, I was very pleasantly surprised with this novel. The writing is, again I use the word surprisingly, sophistated, at least for a book Amazon reccomends for "juveniles."
5-0 out of 5 stars I couldn't put it down...
This is a fantastic novel that I highly recommend to all readers, young and old alike. The gothic imagry was so stark and compelling...there just aren't enough good books like this that pull you into their world so thoroughly. And the subject matter is absolutely facsinating - I can't believe I'd never heard of Countess Bathory before.Just a great read.

4-0 out of 5 stars A Bloody Good Read
The characters in this novel pull you in from the first page. Erzebet, the Countess and Snow are especially intriguing. The reader can imagine themselves lurking around the castle late at night trying to catch a glimpse of Erzebet and her girls. The imagery and descriptions are haunting and you can't stop turning the pages! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This Is A Great Book!!!!!!!
I am not a very good reader. I read 1 book in a year. I finished this in 2 days!!!!!!!!!! Its a great book and i love how Leslie Rule discribes what happens. again it is a great book!

5-0 out of 5 stars Turned out to be the type of book that I love!
I bought this book at a garage sale earlier in the year and I just figured it would be a 'scary' book (I'm an avid fan of Stephen King, John Saul, etc.)As I started reading it, I began to think that I wouldn't like it....set in 2070, the main character is 'connected' to a girl from 1970 who was brutally murdered. At first, I didn't like the fact that it was set so far into the future.I figured from reading the cover that it was recent time and that 100 years before that the murder occurred.I got over that fact quickly when I began to see what was unfolding before my eyes!I couldn't put this book down![Ask my boyfriend!I was up all night last night, under the covers with my flashlight finishing the book! :)]Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Gallows Hill
Sarah Zoltanne is faced with some problems when she moves to Pine Crest.First she has no friends and second she can look in a crystal paperweight and see events in the future and is then labeled as a witch.Sarah was standing at her locker and Eric Garrett, the president of almost everything in the high school, went up to her and asked her if she wanted to be the fortuneteller in the Halloween carnival. She was almost ready to say yes until Eric told her that Kyra was going to be feeding her information about the people coming in.After the carnival Eric told Sarah that she was a big hit and asked her if she wanted to open a fortune telling business. For the business Kyra was not going to be feeding her information through a head set, instead she got pre-written papers to look off of.When people came in and got their fortunes told she told them the things on the paper from Kyra, that she had no way of knowing. When Misty Lamb went in she asked if her mother was going to leave her father, and when Sarah looked into the paperweight she saw her mother fall and then it happened and everyone assumed that Sarah made it happen so she was written off as a witch.A few weeks later she found a dead crow in her locker, and then she was invited to a party at Eric's house, but when she got in car to go to Eric's house they took her up to Garrett Hill.Once they were there she was tied up by some football players and was placed in a noose. Then, Charlie came and he hypnotized everyone to think that were from the Salem Witch Trials. When people started beating him up Ted came and broke everything up.After the event that night Sarah's mother decided to move back to Ventura.I really liked this book because it was a little creepy, but the people were really mean.
5-0 out of 5 stars A Masterpiece.

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty Good
I thought this book was a very interesting book that kept you thinking the whole way through. On the very first chapter it grabed me and I could not put the book down. Then as the story goes on, the book twists and turns into a very compelling story. I rate this book four stars because I thought it was a good book, but, there were some things that I didn't like. The thing I mostly liked about this book is how detailed Lois Duncan made it and how you couldn't put it down. The only thing I did not really like about the book was that then ending, I thought, was not very good and it left me hanging. I guess Lois Duncan wanted to leave the rest to the imagination. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Silent Night 1 & 2 rock!
These books are spectacular! Its super chilling and extremly freaky. I love these books and expect the same for the others. Try "Dangerous Girs" by Stine as well, you'll love it!
2-0 out of 5 stars "'Tis the season . . . to die."
Coming home from college for the holidays with her roommate (Grace Morton), Reva Dalby is unaware of the danger that lays ahead for her yet again in this third and final book in the Silent Night trilogy. In this book, she heads a fashion show at her family's department store, after taking credit for designing some scarves her cousin Pam and Pam's friend (Willow) did themselves. But before the show can get under way, one of the models is murdered, followed by yet another (it just sucks being a model in this book), making a murderous trail straight for Reva.5-0 out of 5 stars Well . . .
Im going to make a short statement.Well first of all, I was full of excitement when the Silent Night books came out. . . but mainly for the covers, a crazed santa, a mob of evil model things. But was oh so dissappointed to find that this--like many of Stine's books--had no scary fictional beasts, merely a stupid kid.Although, I did enjoy the book, and suggest it to everyone.DO NOT BUY IT FOR THE COVER(S)!None of the juicy things the cover shows happends :( ... 5-0 out of 5 stars These people areCRAAAZY!!!
I love that this is the story of how all of the Fiers/Fears are from Fieran. It was very creative, and unexpected! This is the most revengeful, and deceitful book of all the Fear Streat novels. It really takes the cake! I would suggest you read this book before any Fear Streat novels. You know the truth about how it all began.

2-0 out of 5 stars Better Off Dead!
I picked up this book thinking is going to be more interesting this book was more fiction than real. I was reading this book for my English class period 4 this book was easy to read and easy to understand. I think people should read it if they like fiction.

5-0 out of 5 stars A informational book that ties it all together

4-0 out of 5 stars Read it again!
The first time I read it, I didn't like it. The fact I knew who the killer was kinda took all the suspense out of it. But then, when I read it the 2nd time, I ended up actually liking it.
5-0 out of 5 stars Penetrates The Soul, Probably The Best

The witches of the Vida family line have beensuccessfully stalking and staking the undead for centuries, and Sarah isimmensely proud of her ancestry. So, the last thing she would ever do isbefriend one of the enemy. She has always faithfully followed the golden Vidarule of vampire hunting: "Knowing your prey can cause hesitation, and when oneis a vampire hunter, hesitation ends in death." Then she meets artistic, sweetChristopher. A benign vampire, Christopher lives off of animal blood or theblood of willing human donors, and begins to gently woo Sarah with his poetryand drawings. Completely against her slayer instincts, Sarah reluctantly beginsto care for Christopher... until she discovers that his twin is the vampireNikolas, infamous for his habit of carving his name into the flesh of hisvictims. 4-0 out of 5 stars A Tale with Bite
Stories of vampires have always fascinated me.Stories of twins have also always fascinated me.Therefore the story Shattered Mirror was a tale I could sink my teeth into (please pardon the pun). This book follows the quest of witch/vampire hunter, Sarah Vida, for the reviled vampire, Nikolas. What Sarah finds are two "weak" vampires, a brother and sister, at the high school she has newly started attending.Despite her own reservations, and the constant warnings of her family, Sarah befriends the vampires.

5-0 out of 5 stars dare is better than the truth
'Truth or Dare' is a really great book. It's one of R L Stine's best. It's a mystery full of suspenses. A little too much killing, though. I loved it so much that I couldn't put it down.
5-0 out of 5 stars Best book I ever read.
I like this book because it's a mystery. I also like this book because they try and solve a mystery of death. I like it because it's exciting. And the killer is...I'll let you read the book to find that out.

4-0 out of 5 stars Crazy
Because I am extremely interested in forensics, I plucked this book off the shelf (secretly i hoped the book was about killing Britney Spears. Its not!) Basically the book is about the grotesque (somewhat explicitly described in the novel) murders of all the people who were close to Britney. The reader is never sure who the killer is, although they may have their suspictions. The alternating narrations of the main characters (including that of the killer) enhance the mystery and suspense. The book did have a handful of grammatical errors, otherwise, it was very unique and a good read.If you're prone to nightmares, read only during the day and in the presence of a very menacing and protective dog.

I got this book b/c the title seemed interesting and the book is. Throughout the book I thought it was one person and the ending was very unexpecting to me.. I highly recommend this book
